Tapiero emphasized that blockchain will serve as the “monetary infrastructure” for artificial intelligence. “Imagine a world where thousands of independent AI agents operate,” he explained. “These systems won’t rely on traditional financial institutions like JPMorgan. Instead, they will function through smart contracts on the blockchain.”

He also revealed that 10T Holdings plans to allocate roughly 20% of its new fund—currently in the process of raising capital through 2026—to companies operating at the intersection of AI and blockchain. While acknowledging that this sector is still in its early stages, Tapiero predicted, “Over the next five years, this space will evolve into a category of its own.”

Bitcoin Forecast: Consolidation Before a Surge

Adopting a cautiously optimistic tone, Tapiero reiterated that his Bitcoin price outlook has remained unchanged since early 2023. “I expect Bitcoin to first consolidate around the $100,000 level,” he said, describing it as a key psychological threshold for investors. “After that, we could see a move toward $180,000—potentially by next summer.”

He cautioned that the current market stagnation is testing investors’ patience, suggesting that short-term trading strategies are becoming less viable.

“Short-Term Trading Is Nearly Impossible”

Drawing on over 25 years of experience in traditional finance, Tapiero noted that the current market environment is among the most complex he has ever witnessed. “In my 25 years in traditional markets, I’ve never seen conditions this challenging. Short-term trading has become almost impossible,” he said.

Instead, he encouraged investors to focus on long-term structural trends rather than reacting to short-term volatility.

As AI and blockchain integration accelerates, Tapiero believes a new era of crypto market expansion is inevitable—a phase defined by technological synergy and institutional maturity rather than speculation alone.

In a recent post, Samson Mow stated that Bitcoin’s price is unlikely to recover from its current lows unless its market dominance increases. He made this comment while quoting Dan Tapiero, founder and CEO of 10T Holdings and 1RoundTable Partners.

Tapiero had previously noted that “the Bitcoin and Ethereum bull market still has much further to run,” showing his support for both major cryptocurrencies.

Mow, however, has a different view of Ethereum. According to him, ETH is currently in the “final stages of a pump-and-dump.” He believes that once Ethereum resumes its long-term downtrend against Bitcoin, BTC will start running again with strength.
