As the summer months bring a more subdued tone to the cryptocurrency markets, some altcoins have managed to capture investor attention and make their mark in July.

In this regard, on-chain analysis platform Santiment has revealed the three altcoin groups that have stood out in July.

Highlighing that nine altcoins have come to the fore in three different categories, Santiment stated that these nine altcoins have achieved good increases throughout July and continue to do so, despite major cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) following a stable course.

Santiment listed the following altcoins as notable in July:

Artificial intelligence altcoins: PALM, PAAL, 0x0

Solana (SOL) based altcoins: ANDY, POPCAT, WIF

Other memecoin category: BENDOG, PONKE, MYRO
