How SaucerSwap Works 

SaucerSwap operates as an Automated Market Maker (AMM), adapting Uniswap contracts to Hedera’s technology stack: 

• Liquidity Pools: Users (Liquidity Providers – LPs) deposit equal-value token pairs into pools. 
• Swapping: Token prices are determined mathematically based on pool reserves when another user executes a swap.

1. SaucerSwap V1: Based on Uniswap V2’s constant product AMM (x × y = k), providing simple, full-range liquidity.

$1B Token Sale Planned, Targeting Public And Private Investors

According to Blockworks, Pump.fun aims to raise $1 billion through a token sale that values the company at $4 billion. The sale will reportedly be open to both retail and institutional investors. However, details regarding the timing and platform of the launch remain undisclosed.

Launched in early 2024, Pump.fun allows anyone to easily create and deploy tokens. Since its debut, it has become the leading source of memecoin launches on the Solana network, at one point generating over $7 million in daily revenue. That figure has cooled to about $1 million, but still represents a strong economic engine.

PumpSwap, Raydium, And The Race For Meme Dominance

Initially, once tokens reached a market cap of $69,000 on Pump.fun, they would “graduate” to Raydium, a decentralized exchange on Solana. But that changed with the launch of PumpSwap, an in-house automated market maker. In response, Raydium launched LaunchLab, its own memecoin generator—further intensifying competition within the Solana DeFi space.

Today, the PancakeSwap team told the community that they have submitted a proposal to reduce the token supply for CAKE. Therefore, the maximum token supply of CAKE will drop from 750 million to 450 million. The team also mentioned their goal of moving away from an inflationary policy before making this proposal.

After this post was shared, the price of CAKE saw an increase of about 20%. This important decision appears to be a significant step for the future of PancakeSwap. Currently, the maximum supply of CAKE is 750 million, and 263 million are in circulation. The sales pressure will be significantly reduced once the proposal is implemented.

What is PancakeSwap?

PancakeSwap is a decentralized exchange built on Binance Smart Chain (BSC). As with all decentralized exchanges, you can trade tokens without needing a central intermediary and keep custody of your tokens while on PancakeSwap.
