Another major milestone has been completed for the Monad ecosystem. You can now add the Monad Mainnet directly to your Backpack Wallet, turning your wallet into a unified hub for both testnet and mainnet activity. This integration brings Monad’s vision of speed, low cost, and high scalability directly into the user experience, marking the beginning of a new era for the Monad community.

Backpack known for its Solana-based architecture and multi-chain support now enables users to manage both their assets and ecosystem applications in one interface, without switching between networks, thanks to full Monad integration.

24-Hour Airdrop Campaign Launched

To celebrate the mainnet integration, Backpack has launched a special 24-hour airdrop event featuring MON, CHOG, and other Monad ecosystem tokens. Participation requirements have been kept extremely simple.

To join the airdrop:

Import your Monad claim wallet into Backpack.

Generate your deposit address on the Monad network.

Share a screenshot of the address to complete your entry.

This event offers a valuable early advantage for first-day users and supports rapid growth in liquidity and user participation across the ecosystem.

How to Use Monad with Backpack Wallet

Open or Log In to Backpack Wallet – After launching the app, complete any region-specific verification steps if prompted. Backpack provides a secure and user-friendly verification process.

Import Your Monad Claim Wallet – Use the import tool to add your EVM-based address into Backpack. Once imported, all your Monad assets become manageable from a single interface.

Connect to Monad Testnet – From the network selector, choose Monad Testnet to start experimenting. Testnet is ideal for swapping, bridging, and exploring the ecosystem without risk.

Explore the Ecosystem: Swaps, Bridges, Tokens – Backpack is not just a wallet it’s an ecosystem explorer. With Monad integration, you can test transactions, move assets across bridges, and track trending tokens within the ecosystem.

Full Readiness for Mainnet – The Monad Mainnet launches on 24 November 2025. Backpack Wallet has already been prepared to support all mainnet features from day one. Your existing wallet will automatically adapt to mainnet access no additional action required.

Why This Integration Matters for the Monad Ecosystem

This development is more than a simple wallet integration — it is a strong signal that Monad’s long-term vision is becoming reality.

Key strengths now reaching wider audiences:

Faster transaction layer

High performance with EVM compatibility

Low-cost execution model

A rapidly growing developer community

Backpack integration amplifies these strengths by making the ecosystem more accessible to both developers and investors. It also accelerates user adoption as Monad prepares for a significant expansion in 2025.

The complete integration of Backpack Wallet with the Monad Mainnet stands out as one of the ecosystem’s most impactful advancements in 2025. With the airdrop campaign, mainnet readiness, and unified wallet experience, Monad is expected to see substantial growth in both user numbers and transaction volume.

Crypto wallet company Backpack announced it will launch a “regulated” exchange by obtaining a VASP license from the Dubai Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority. Also the trading platform, named “Backpack Exchange” will launch its beta version next month and will open to the general public in the first quarter of 2024.

Additionally digital wallet company Web3 by Backpack, started by a crypto infrastructure company named Coral, announced that it will launch a cryptocurrency exchange by obtaining an important license from the Dubai Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority, or VARA.

You might like: UN Published Bitcoin Mining Report!

After VARA granted a license to Backpack as a Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP), so Backpack announced that it would regulate its new stock market. The company said, “Backpack Exchange developed a new-generation exchange with zk-proof (zero knowledge proof) of reserves, storing with multi-party computation (MPC) and executing transactions with low latency.”

VARA, according to the statement, “is responsible for regulating all virtual asset activities throughout the Emirate of Dubai.”

Backpack’s New Exchange Aims for Transparency

Armani Ferrante, CEO and founder of Backpack, had to ride out a tough period last year. Ferrante, a former Alamada Research engineer, had raised $20 million in a round led by FTX Ventures for Coral, but after the exchange crashed, Coral lost $14.5 million left on the exchange, including the initially deposited $10 million. It seems that Ferrante was partly inspired by the disaster caused by the crash of FTX to decide to launch his exchange.

Ferrante said in his statement: “It’s time for ending opaque crypto exchanges which represent everything our industry stands against. It shouldn’t be normal to use an exchange without a single point of failure, proof of reserves or auditability.”

The new exchange begins with a beta version According to the announcement, the new exchange will start with a beta version in November and will become active for the general public in the first quarter of 2024. The company also said, “The Backpack Exchange team will work to add various trading functions such as derivatives, margin, and cross-collateral“, and added that the compliance team has professional experience with Barclays, State Street, HSBC, and Coinbase.
