]]> Binance announces its new Launchpool project! WalletConnect (WCT) is an open-source network that connects users to decentralized applications through a secure and interoperable protocol. Users will be able to earn WCT for a set period of time by locking up BNB, FDUSD, and USDC.

What is WalletConnect (WCT)?

WalletConnect is an open-source protocol designed to enable users to connect their crypto wallets to decentralized applications (dApps) in a simple and secure manner. By utilizing QR code technology, users can easily link their mobile wallets to desktop applications or other platforms.

WalletConnect is especially useful for mobile crypto users, offering a seamless transition between devices and platforms.

How to Participate in the Event?

  1. Log in to the Binance homepage.

  2. Click on the “Launchpool” tab from the top menu.

  3. On the Launchpool page, select the WCT Farming event and click on “Stake Now” to join.

When Does WalletConnect (WCT) Farming Begin?

The WCT farming period will run from April 11, 2025, 00:00 (UTC) to April 14, 2025, 23:59 (UTC). During this time, Binance users can stake BNB, FDUSD, or USDC into the respective pools and earn WCT rewards. A total of 40,000,000 WCT (4% of the total supply) will be distributed through Launchpool.

When Will WalletConnect (WCT) Be Listed on Binance?

Binance will list WCT on April 15, 2025, at 11:00 (UTC), and trading will open with the following pairs: WCT/USDT, WCT/USDC, WCT/BNB, WCT/FDUSD, and WCT/TRY. The Seed Tag will apply to WCT.

WCT Launchpool Details:

  • Token Name: WalletConnect (WCT)

  • Total Token Supply: 1,000,000,000 WCT

  • Max Token Supply: 1,000,000,000 WCT

  • Launchpool Rewards: 40,000,000 WCT (4% of total supply)

  • Learn & Earn Campaign: 10,000,000 WCT (to be distributed in batches)

  • Initial Circulating Supply at Binance Listing: 186,200,000 WCT (18.62% of total supply)

Users are required to complete Binance’s KYC verification process to be eligible.

Hourly Hard Cap Per User:

  • BNB Pool: 35,416 WCT

  • FDUSD Pool: 2,083 WCT

  • USDC Pool: 4,166 WCT

Supported Pools & Allocations:

  • Stake BNB: 34,000,000 WCT in rewards (85%)

  • Stake FDUSD: 2,000,000 WCT in rewards (5%)

  • Stake USDC: 4,000,000 WCT in rewards (10%)
