Now, Binance — one of the world’s leading crypto exchanges — has announced a significant update affecting risk-conscious traders.

Binance Adds BAKE, IDEX, and SLF to Monitoring List

Following its latest assessment, Binance is adding BakeryToken (BAKE), IDEX (IDEX), and Self Chain (SLF) to its Monitoring Tag list. Tokens with this label are considered highly volatile and risky, and are subject to enhanced scrutiny.

The exchange notes that these tokens may no longer meet listing standards and could be delisted if necessary. This move emphasizes the need for users to be well-informed and cautious when engaging with such assets.

Click to Register to Binance Exchange with 20% Commission Discount!

Mandatory Risk Quizzes Every 90 Days

To access these tokens on Binance Spot or Binance Margin, users must now pass a risk awareness quiz every 90 days and agree to Binance’s Terms of Use. The intention is to ensure that traders understand the risks before interacting with assets flagged by the Monitoring Tag.

These tokens will be visibly marked on the Markets Overview and trading pages, along with a clear risk warning banner to inform and protect users. Binance reiterates its commitment to transparency, community safety, and responsible trading practices.

Log in to your account: After logging into your Binance account, navigate to the wallet icon at the top right of the screen and select [Spot] from the dropdown menu.

Profit/Loss Status: On the Spot Wallet page, click the arrow next to [Today’s Profit/Loss Status] at the top of the screen to view your updated PNL data.

Viewing PNL on the Binance Mobile App

App Interface: If you are using the Binance app, go to the [Wallets] tab and click on [Spot]. On the page that opens, click the arrow next to [Today’s PNL] to see your current profit and loss report.

By following these steps on both the website and the mobile app, you can track your spot wallet’s PNL in real time. This feature is quite useful for regularly monitoring your investment performance.

Spot Wallet PNL Calculation Formulas

To help investors better understand their financial outcomes, Binance provides detailed PNL calculations. Various PNL calculations based on different time frames are as follows:

Today’s PNL: To see your PNL for the day, subtract the starting spot wallet balance of the day from the ending balance and account for the net total of transfers and deposits during the day. The formula is: Today’s PNL = Current Spot Wallet balance – Starting Spot Wallet balance – Net total of the day’s transfers and deposits

Total PNL: When you want to calculate PNL over a longer period, you can use the total PNL formula, which also includes the daily average net transfers and deposits during the selected time frame. Total PNL = Total PNL / (Starting Spot Wallet balance on Day 1 + Daily total average net transfers and deposits from Day 1 to N)

Daily PNL: To track your daily profit and loss, compare your 00:00 spot wallet balance with your end-of-day balance, accounting for transfers and deposits: Daily PNL = End of day Spot Wallet balance – Spot Wallet balance at 00:00 – Net total of the day’s transfers and deposits

Asset Allocation: Binance also allows you to view the allocation of your assets in your spot wallet, sorted by market value. All assets in your wallet are ranked by volume according to market prices, helping you better evaluate your investment portfolio.

Net Asset Value: You can view the total net value of your assets over time. This feature allows you to track changes in the value of your portfolio over multiple days and serves as a guide for making strategic decisions.

Features of Binance’s PNL Tracking System

While Binance offers users the ability to analyze their PNL on a daily and periodic basis, it is important to consider some technical details:

Data Statistics: Binance organizes PNL data according to the UTC time zone. System maintenance typically occurs between 00:00 and 02:00 (UTC). During this time, the previous day’s profit and loss data may be temporarily unavailable.

Comprehensive Analyses: Binance users can view performance data for specific time periods (such as one week or one month) in addition to daily PNL data. This allows for a long-term assessment of investment strategies.

Viewing PNL and Transaction Analysis in Binance Margin Wallet

Performing profit and loss analyses for margin trades is essential for managing risk. Binance offers various options to analyze PNL in your margin wallet in detail.

Binance Exchange Registration Link with 20% Commission Discount

Viewing Margin PNL on the Website

After logging into Binance, go to the [Wallet] menu and select the [Margin] section. Here, you can choose either [Cross] or [Isolated] options to view your periodical analyses. For example:

Today: Shows the profit and loss analysis from 00:00 today.

Last 7 Days: Provides the PNL analysis of your margin trades over the past 7 days.

Last 1 Month: Displays the profit and loss for margin trades in the last 30 days.

Viewing Margin PNL on the Mobile App

Users of the Binance app can access detailed profit and loss analyses by going to the [Wallets] tab and clicking on [Margin]. Here, you can access detailed PNL analyses of both cross and isolated margin accounts.

Margin Wallet PNL Calculation Methods

PNL calculations in your margin wallet are as follows:

Daily PNL: To calculate daily performance, subtract the opening equity from the closing equity and add the net transfers for the day: Daily PNL = Day 1 Account Equity – Day 0 Account Equity – Net Transfer on Day 1

Total PNL: To calculate total profit and loss over a longer time frame, the difference between the equity at the beginning and end of the period is used, including net transfers. Total PNL = Account Equity on Day N – Account Equity on Day 0 – Net Transfers from Day 1 to N

The Binance margin wallet allows for detailed analysis of risk management. It is also essential to monitor both cross and isolated margin account types.

Important Information

Cross Margin Accounts: Data for cross margin accounts on Binance is available from May 1, 2019, and up to 6 months of data can be viewed.

Isolated Margin Accounts: For isolated margin accounts, the system only supports data for the last 3 months, with a maximum of 30 days available for viewing at once.

By regularly tracking the profit and loss in both your spot and margin wallets, you can optimize your investment strategies.

In recent developments within the cryptocurrency market, noted on-chain expert Killthewolf.eth, also known by their alias X, has identified thirteen altcoins currently listed on Binance Futures but not yet available on Binance Spot. This list comprises various altcoins:

Toncoin (TON)

Kaspa (KAS)

Monero (XMR)

Ondo Finance (ONDO)

BSV

ZETA

Ethereum PoW (ETHW)

MYRO

BIGTIME

RATS

TOKEN

MAVIA,

Orbs Network (ORBS)

Among the discussed cryptocurrencies, Toncoin (TON) and Ondo Finance (ONDO) have especially stood out with the most trading volumes. This substantial trading activity emphasizes their major presence in the futures market and possible attraction for investors.

Killthewolf.eth emphasized, “On Binance, 13 altcoins are presently under futures trading but not listed on spot. These altcoins follow a chart. Among them, TON is the most market-capitalized and traded and is probably the next altcoin to be spot-listed.”

The possible listing of these altcoins on Binance Spot could have a major influence on their market dynamics since it provides more liquidity and easier access for investors. The present futures trading activity acts as a gauge for the increasing interest and potential future performance of various digital assets.

Investors and the bitcoin community are especially waiting for more Binance announcements on the spot listing of these cryptocurrencies. Such improvements will not only improve the trading possibilities on the platform but also probably affect the general market trends for several digital currencies.

The expectation around these possible spot listings emphasizes the dynamic nature of bitcoin trading and the continuous interest in different digital assets as the market develops.
