TON Blockchain Outage

The Open Network (TON) encountered a brief network outage on June 1. An error in the Masterchain transmission queue halted block production. The development team restored the system within about 40 minutes. The team announced on Telegram, “We provided a quick fix; updating just a few masterchain validators was enough,” after which block production resumed. 

Paris Police Prevent Crypto-Focused Kidnappings

French authorities launched an operation against a criminal gang targeting the crypto community. They arrested 25 individuals aged between 16 and 23. 

The Paris prosecutor’s office revealed that the suspects planned kidnappings of prominent figures and their relatives in the crypto sector. The investigation centers on a failed kidnapping attempt on May 13 in Paris’s 11th district. The targeted victim was identified as the daughter and granddaughter of Pierre Noizat, CEO of the French crypto exchange Paymium. Officials also disclosed a similar attempt a day earlier and another plot thwarted near Nantes. 

Saylor Wants to Join Joe Rogan’s Podcast

On May 31, Michael Saylor posted a message to Joe Rogan: “Hey @joerogan, let’s talk about Bitcoin,” expressing his interest in appearing on the podcast. This sparked widespread speculation. The Bitcoin Therapist commented, “This interview will shake the internet.” 

Crypto analyst Kook shared with followers, “Saylor will give Joe Rogan the Bitcoin pill.” Meanwhile, Brandon MacDougal said, “If Saylor joins, it’ll be the first Rogan episode I watch.”
