WLFI Token Added $670 Million 

Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump, and Barron Trump co-founded World Liberty Financial (WLFI) last year. On September 1, WLFI launched its token with a $7 billion market cap. According to Bloomberg, this single move increased the Trump family’s collective wealth by $670 million. 

WLFI already has over 24 billion tokens in circulation. However, the family’s 22.5 billion token allocation remains locked, meaning it cannot yet be liquidated. Still, World Liberty quickly positioned itself as a major player. Backed by Nasdaq-listed ALT5 Sigma, WLFI secured $1.5 billion in funding. This treasury strategy is designed to strengthen digital reserves and ensure long-term financial stability. 

American Bitcoin and Real Estate Tokenization 

Eric Trump owns about 7.5% of American Bitcoin (ABTC). After its September 3 market debut, his stake nearly reached $1 billion. Donald Trump Jr. also holds a smaller, undisclosed share. 

American Bitcoin went public after merging with Gryphon Digital Mining and now trades under the ticker ABTC. The company also partnered with Hut 8 Corp. to secure mining hardware and expand operations. 

Meanwhile, the family is preparing for its next blockchain move: real estate tokenization. According to Soul Ventures’ Warren Hui, Eric Trump has discussed creating blockchain-based tokens backed by physical properties. In practice, this would turn real estate assets into tradable digital securities. This initiative combines the Trump family’s property expertise with crypto innovation. 

For decades, the family grew its wealth through real estate and hospitality. However, WLFI and American Bitcoin have already generated wealth comparable to Mar-a-Lago and Trump Tower. Both ventures show how quickly the Trumps are shifting their focus from traditional property to blockchain finance.

A Strategic Entry Into Crypto

In Q2 2025, the Czech National Bank adjusted its U.S. investment portfolio by making a notable move: it purchased over $18 million worth of Coinbase shares, marking its first direct exposure to the crypto industry.

According to a recent 13F filing submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the bank acquired 51,732 Coinbase shares. In addition, it expanded its holdings in data analytics firm Palantir by buying 49,135 more shares, bringing its total to 519,950.

This strategic allocation reflects growing interest in both Nasdaq-listed tech firms and the broader potential of blockchain-based platforms.

Coinbase Joins the S&P 500

In May 2025, Coinbase made headlines by becoming the first crypto-native company to join the S&P 500, a landmark moment signaling institutional trust in the digital asset sector.

The stock soared 41% in the first half of the year, followed by another 10% gain in subsequent weeks. Over the past month, Coinbase shares surged approximately 60%, according to Google Finance data.

Revenue Drop Doesn’t Stop Growth

Despite a 10% quarter-over-quarter revenue drop to $2 billion and a 95% plunge in net income due to a $596 million paper loss, the company still beat analyst expectations with earnings per share of $1.94.

Coinbase continues expanding, recently announcing the $2.9 billion acquisition of crypto options platform Deribit. Earlier this month, it also acquired Liquifi, a token management solution, reinforcing its dominance across both trading and token infrastructure services.
