A notable new airdrop event is rocking the cryptocurrency sector. In an announcement made on their official blog page on September 26, the Celestia team said it would airdrop to a total of 576,653 addresses, involving 7,579 developers and early users on Ethereum roll-ups, Cosmos Hub (ATOM), and Osmosis (OSMO).

The announcement emphasized that the team would distribute a total of 60 million TIA tokens, completing the token distribution on October 17 and launching the network towards the end of this year. The team reminded that they had concluded the snapshots for the airdrop process on January 1, 2023, and stated that the planned distribution of 60 million TIA would constitute 6% of the total 1 billion supply.

Users who meet the airdrop criteria will be able to claim their TIA tokens via the project’s official website until 3 pm (Turkey time) on October 17.

Among the criteria are details such as having an old wallet, having some funds in it, and donating to GitHub. It is also emphasized that the snapshot was taken on January 1.
