Binance has announced a new margin market adjustment that will directly impact FDUSD-based trading pairs. According to the exchange, 18 FDUSD margin pairs will be removed at 06:00 UTC on December 30, 2025, affecting both Cross Margin and Isolated Margin markets.

The move signals a broader shift in margin liquidity management and comes as Binance continues to refine its stablecoin-based trading structure.

FDUSD Pairs to Be Removed from Cross Margin

EIGEN/FDUSD, ARB/FDUSD, TRUMP/FDUSD, POL/FDUSD, ATOM/FDUSD, LDO/FDUSD, SHIB/FDUSD, RAY/FDUSD, GALA/FDUSD, PEPE/FDUSD

FDUSD Pairs to Be Removed from Isolated Margin

EIGEN/FDUSD, ARB/FDUSD, POL/FDUSD, ATOM/FDUSD, LDO/FDUSD, SHIB/FDUSD, GALA/FDUSD, PEPE/FDUSD

Once the delisting takes effect, users will no longer be able to open new margin positions for these pairs. Existing positions must be closed in advance to avoid automatic settlement or forced liquidation once trading support ends.

Why it matters?

FDUSD has been positioned as an alternative USD-pegged stablecoin within major exchange ecosystems. Removing multiple FDUSD margin pairs suggests that margin liquidity is being reconcentrated toward higher-volume stablecoins, while exposure to lower-demand margin pairs is being reduced.

Such margin adjustments are typically associated with risk optimization, especially during periods of changing volatility dynamics or stablecoin allocation strategies. While spot trading remains unaffected, margin-driven volume contractions can still lead to short-term price inefficiencies in the affected assets.

Market participants are expected to closely monitor whether further FDUSD-related margin updates follow in the coming days.

Jerome Powell signaled that the Federal Reserve may pause its rate-cut cycle heading into the January FOMC meeting. His remarks boosted the odds of unchanged rates while Bitcoin, which briefly touched ninety-four thousand dollars, pulled back to ninety-two thousand. The shift in expectations reshaped market sentiment across equities and crypto.

Jerome Powell’s comments suggested a more cautious stance on monetary easing. The speech also reinforced concerns about inflation risks and the slowing labor market, creating renewed volatility in digital assets.

Fed Signals a Pause as Neutral Rate Comes Into View

Powell emphasized that this year’s rate reductions have brought policy into a “range of plausible estimates of neutral.” This phrasing indicated that the Fed sees less urgency for further cuts. He said any additional moves would depend on incoming data, the evolving economic outlook, and the balance of risks. The message aligned with a growing market view that an aggressive cutting cycle is unlikely.

The Fed chair also stated that labor market conditions are cooling while inflation remains somewhat elevated. He noted that downside risks to employment have increased, yet inflation risks continue to show an upward tilt. Powell reiterated that few inflation readings have been released since the October meeting, but the overall picture has not shifted significantly, justifying the recent twenty-five basis-point cut.

Additionally, Powell confirmed that purchases of short-term Treasury securities will support effective control of the policy rate. This operational detail highlights the Fed’s effort to manage volatility in funding markets during a sensitive policy phase.

January Rate-Cut Odds Collapse During Powell’s Speech

CME FedWatch data showed a sharp drop in expectations for another rate cut at the January meeting. Markets now assign only a twenty-four percent chance of a twenty-five-basis-point cut, while the probability of rates remaining unchanged has surged to seventy-six percent. This shift reflects the Fed’s more data-dependent posture heading into 2026.

The Federal Reserve will have two critical inflation reports to evaluate before the meeting. The Producer Price Index arrives on January fourteenth, and the Consumer Price Index will be released one day earlier. Both will heavily influence rate-path projections.

Despite the Fed projecting just one rate cut for 2026, Bloomberg chief economist Anna Wong sees room for a total of one hundred basis points in reductions next year. She expects weaker payroll growth and limited evidence of an inflation rebound. Powell’s term expires in May, and former President Trump is expected to appoint a chair who supports faster easing.

Key rate expectations include:

Seventy-six percent probability of unchanged rates in January

Twenty-four percent chance of a twenty-five-point cut

Fed median outlook shows a single cut for 2026

Some analysts still expect as much as one hundred basis points of easing

Bitcoin Rallies on Speech, Then Reverses as Fed Uncertainty Rises

Bitcoin spiked to ninety-four thousand dollars during Powell’s remarks, reflecting early optimism about future easing. However, the move quickly reversed, and the price slid to ninety-two thousand. This pattern mirrors the sharp swings seen after several FOMC events throughout the year.

The correction underscores how sensitive crypto markets remain to U.S. monetary policy. Traders are reassessing risk appetite as the Fed signals a pause, and macro expectations continue to dictate short-term momentum. With rate-cut uncertainty rising, digital assets may face additional volatility in the first quarter of next year.

Ethereum regained strong upward momentum after the Fusaka upgrade went live. The price reached a three-week high at 3,230 dollars and renewed investor interest. Medium-sized whale wallets holding between 1,000 and 10,000 ETH started accumulating aggressively in recent days. These wallets shaped the price direction throughout 2025. The recent rise signaled a return of market confidence. This trend also aligned with growing search demand for Ethereum price action.

Santiment described these addresses as “the main price indicator of 2025.” The network also gained 190,000 new wallets in a single day. This growth reflected a rapid expansion in on-chain activity. It also showed that Ethereum still maintains one of the strongest demand flows across the ecosystem. The data boosted expectations for short-term volatility. It further highlighted how investor behavior shifted after the upgrade.

Fusaka Upgrade Opens a New Phase for the Ethereum Ecosystem

The Fusaka upgrade improved performance and reduced rollup costs. It created a smoother connection between Layer-1 and Layer-2 infrastructure. Developer Terence Tsao confirmed the upgrade progressed without issues. He also said L2 chains continued to send blobs without interruption. His comments strengthened market expectations. They also highlighted developer confidence in the network.

“Fusaka went well and L2s kept sending blobs without disruption. Thanks to all teams, L1 and L2 now operate like a single machine.”

Fusaka is viewed as a milestone in Ethereum’s rollup-centric roadmap. The update expanded blob capacity and made transactions cheaper. It also strengthened user experience across decentralized applications. Bankless founder Ryan Sean Adams summarized the current momentum with strong remarks. He said developer motivation reached levels unseen since the Merge. This sentiment supported long-term optimism.

Meanwhile, daily gas usage exceeded 200 billion units on 3 December. It reached an all-time high on the same day Fusaka activated. This record revealed rising network activity. It also reflected strong demand for on-chain services.

Institutional Demand Builds as ETH/BTC Ratio Nears a Key Level

Market analysts pointed to new signals supporting Ethereum’s price direction. Ted Pillows noted that the ETH/BTC ratio approached a critical threshold. He added that reclaiming the 50-week exponential moving average could strengthen momentum. This move may also support altcoin markets. Analysts said institutional positioning became more visible. They emphasized that large moves often precede trend acceleration.

Institutional activity increased during the week. Tom Lee continued regular purchases and BitMine executed its third major ETH buy. Arkham Intelligence recorded two new wallets withdrawing 92 million dollars from Kraken and 58 million dollars from BitGo. BitMine now holds roughly 3.73 million ETH. This position reinforced market confidence. It further signaled long-term accumulation behavior among large entities.

Short-term charts showed 3,300 dollars as strong resistance. Meanwhile, support at 2,970 dollars remained intact. Analysts said price moves above this zone maintained a constructive outlook. Pullbacks were viewed as normal corrections. They added that trend strength relied on sustained network growth and institutional inflows.

Key Indicators to Watch in the Coming Sessions

The following metrics will guide Ethereum’s short-term outlook:

Sustained price action above 3,300 dollars

The protection of the 2,970-dollar support zone

Network expansion and institutional inflows

ETH/BTC ratio movements shaping broader market sentiment

On-chain activity responding to the Fusaka upgrade

Ethereum’s rising network usage, strong investor demand and Fusaka-driven technical improvements shaped a positive market picture. These factors supported bullish expectations as the year approached its final weeks. Investors also focused on behavior signals from mid-sized whales. Their actions may continue to influence the broader market trend.,

A Legacy of the Massive Airdrop and Why This Unlock Matters

Pseudonymous developer iliensinc explained that the release was intentionally aligned with the first anniversary of Hyperliquid’s token generation event. He reminded the community that roughly 270 million tokens had already been fully unlocked on November 29, 2024. At current pricing, that historical unlock would be valued at around $9.5 billion, still regarded as the largest airdrop in the industry’s history.

One point the Hyperliquid community stresses repeatedly is that the project has never raised external capital. As a result, all unlocked tokens belong strictly to the team and internal contributors. With no investor allocations, Hyperliquid avoids the typical VC-related selling pressure that often disrupts token markets.

Price Reaction: Was the Unlock Already Priced In?

Following Saturday’s announcement, HYPE fell about 4.6 percent. Because the token has been in a months-long downtrend, traders are highly sensitive to timing. Investors are now watching closely to see whether any portion of the $60 million allocation will reach active liquidity during the coming days.

BitMEX founder Arthur Hayes highlighted the core risk inherent in unlocks, stating that a team’s promise not to sell is never binding. The probability of ongoing sell pressure, he argued, is never zero. According to Hayes, current price behavior suggests the market has already factored this possibility into its outlook.

HYPE reached an all-time high of $59.40 in September but has fallen roughly 42 percent since then, dropping below its 200-day moving average and losing a significant long-term support zone.

The strong uptrend extending into mid-2025 began losing momentum after September 19. During the violent altcoin sell-off on October 10, several tokens dropped more than 95 percent in a single session. HYPE also plunged 54 percent that day before rebounding into the $40 range within two sessions.

Since then, price action has been defined by lower highs and weakening momentum. As a result, each new unlock is interpreted more cautiously, with traders searching for signs of potential supply inflows.

DEX Performance: Strong Throughput Despite Price Pressure

Industry analysts continue to cite Hyperliquid’s technical design and revenue engine as standout strengths. The DEX has managed nearly $330 billion in monthly volume with a relatively small team—an impressive operational footprint during a year marked by extreme volatility and repeated liquidity shocks.

Supporters argue that this level of volume, user growth and fee generation explains the token’s strong early-stage valuation. Critics, however, maintain that unlock cycles will continue to shape short-term market reactions regardless of fundamentals.

Has the Market Absorbed the Selling Pressure?

Because the unlock followed a transparent and well-known schedule, it did not create an unexpected information shock. Still, traders remain cautious, aware that the possibility of selling never disappears entirely.

The broader outlook suggests that while Hyperliquid maintains operational strength, investor psychology remains highly sensitive to token unlock events. This dynamic implies that HYPE may continue to experience elevated volatility in the near term.

Strategy reported a net income of $2.8 billion in the third quarter of 2025. The company’s Bitcoin holdings increased by $12.9 billion since the beginning of the year, marking a significant boost in profitability.

Strategy Q3 Financial Performance

In its earnings release, Strategy announced $3.9 billion in operating income. The company now holds 640,808 BTC, acquired at an average price of $74,032 per unit. With Bitcoin trading at $110,600, the total value of this portfolio has reached $70.9 billion, representing an unrealized gain of $12.9 billion and a 26% BTC return since January.

President and CEO Phong Le stated, “Strategy continued to strengthen its position as the world’s leading Bitcoin treasury company in Q3 and October.” He also highlighted that the firm has raised $20 billion through capital markets so far this year.

Bitcoin Holdings and Capital Strategy

During the quarter ending September 30, Strategy generated $5.1 billion in net proceeds, followed by an additional $89.5 million between October 1 and 26. Cash and cash equivalents increased from $38.1 million to $54.3 million. Despite market volatility, Strategy reaffirmed its 2025 Bitcoin KPI target, expecting a 30% BTC return and $20 billion BTC profit assuming Bitcoin reaches $150,000 by year-end.

Key Bitcoin metrics from Strategy:

Michael Saylor’s Digital Credit Vision

During the earnings call, CEO Michael Saylor emphasized that Strategy’s main focus is not acquiring other Bitcoin treasury firms but developing a digital credit ecosystem. The company aims to deliver 30% return on capital (ROC) for preferred shareholders while enhancing BTC returns for common shareholders.

Saylor noted that convertible bonds are expected to be fully capitalized by 2029. Strategy also plans to issue new preferred shares internationally, including euro-denominated offerings, while maintaining tax-deferred capital return dividends for at least 10 years.

He stressed a long-term 10-year horizon, stating that patience and conviction are essential to outperform Bitcoin itself.

BlackRock’s IBIT and ETHA products received $10 billion in inflows within just a month, quickly climbing the ranks.

The US crypto executive order required government agencies to transparently disclose the amount of Bitcoin and digital assets they hold. According to the order signed by Donald Trump in March, the information was supposed to be disclosed in April. However, 172 days have passed and there has still been no official announcement; the US digital reserve remains unclear.

Trump Takes Action in Crypto

After being elected president, Trump took significant steps regarding cryptocurrencies. The US cryptocurrency executive order he signed on March 6 required government agencies to transparently disclose their digital assets. Neither Trump, nor Treasury Secretary Bessent, nor White House Cryptocurrency Lead David Sacks shared any information. This situation remains a mystery in terms of the US digital reserve and market transparency.

Agencies Silent on US Crypto Executive Order

Treasury Department officials stated that they did not have a report and referred the matter to other agencies. The IRS, Secret Service, and US Marshals have not made a public statement for 172 days. Experts say this silence has increased uncertainty about the US digital reserve.

This may interest you: Could the US Establish a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve Before the End of 2025?

Bitcoin Reserve Still Unclear!

Experts indicate that the US holds approximately 200,000 Bitcoin. It is still unclear how much BTC each institution holds. The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency holds only 28,000 BTC. They will use seized coins rather than making new purchases to build reserves. This makes control and transparency of the US digital reserve even more critical.

Spot Bitcoin ETFs saw a massive $812.25 million in net outflows on Friday, marking the second-largest daily loss in their history. This sharp drop ended a week-long run of consistent inflows. According to SoSoValue, the cumulative net inflow for Bitcoin ETFs fell to $54.18 billion.

During this period, total assets under management (AUM) declined to $146.48 billion. This figure represents roughly 6.46% of Bitcoin’s market capitalization. Fidelity’s FBTC led the outflows with a $331.42 million redemption by investors.

ARK Invest’s ARKB product followed closely with a $327.93 million withdrawal. Grayscale’s GBTC recorded $66.79 million in losses, while BlackRock’s IBIT saw a relatively minor $2.58 million outflow.

Despite the decline, trading volumes across spot Bitcoin ETFs remained strong. The total volume reached $6.13 billion, with BlackRock’s IBIT contributing $4.54 billion alone. This indicates continued investor interest despite the volatility.

Meanwhile, spot Ether ETFs ended their longest-ever inflow streak on Friday, following 20 consecutive trading days of net inflows.
This amount equals about 4.70% of Ethereum’s market cap.
On the other hand, BlackRock’s ETHA remained flat for the day, reporting no inflows or outflows. Its assets under management held steady at $10.71 billion.

Across all Ether ETFs, total trading volume hit $2.26 billion. Grayscale’s ETHE contributed the most, with $288.96 million in daily volume, reflecting ongoing market volatility.

Institutional Demand Rises: Ethereum Accumulation Accelerates

According to a recent report by Standard Chartered, institutional investors have increased their Ethereum purchases. Amid escalating conflict between Israel and Iran, Bitcoin is holding strong near $105,000, with institutional capital flooding in through ETFs.

Five-Day Inflow Streak Signals Investor Confidence

Bitcoin ETFs posted five straight days of inflows starting June 9, with over $1.3 billion entering the market. According to Farside Investors, Friday alone saw $301 million in net inflows, signaling robust confidence in Bitcoin despite recent shocks.

While the cryptocurrency briefly dropped 3% following Israel’s airstrikes on Iran, it bounced back quickly from $103,000 to hover around $105,000 — reflecting market resilience under pressure.

Falling Dollar Boosts Bitcoin’s Outlook

Nic Puckrin of Coin Bureau emphasized the macroeconomic view: “It’s not geopolitics, but the U.S. dollar index (DXY) that truly drives Bitcoin. With DXY falling below 100 — a three-year low — Bitcoin stands to benefit.”

Still, the risk of Iran closing the Strait of Hormuz, through which 20% of the world’s oil flows, could trigger short-term price shocks across risk-on assets like cryptocurrencies.

New Highs on the Horizon?

Despite global uncertainty, Bitcoin is trading just 6% below its all-time high of $112,000, reached on May 22. This resilience has analysts predicting that a breakout could be imminent.

As macroeconomic instability grows and trust in traditional finance weakens, capped-supply assets like Bitcoin are becoming increasingly attractive to both retail and institutional investors.
