AgentFun.AI (AGENTFUN) is an innovative platform that leverages artificial intelligence (AI) to enable users to create, develop, and tokenize AI agents, which can then be traded on decentralized exchanges (DEXs). Operating on the Cronos zkEVM and Cronos EVM networks, this platform combines AI with blockchain technology to deliver a unique ecosystem. Users can design their own AI agents, foster community growth around them, and trade their tokenized versions. Here’s an in-depth look at AgentFun.AI.

What Is AgentFun.AI (AGENTFUN)?

AgentFun.AI is a platform where users craft AI agents that are represented as unique tokens, each building its own community of supporters. These agents can engage on social media platforms, interact with communities, and be traded on decentralized exchanges. By merging AI with DeFi (decentralized finance), the platform offers users a creative and financial experience.

The core mission of the platform is to allow users to design an AI agent, nurture its growth, and gain support from a community. Once an agent garners sufficient backing, it reaches a “graduation” phase, where its tokens become freely tradable on DEXs. This process is akin to a musician building a fanbase before releasing an album, but powered by blockchain technology.

How AgentFun.AI Works

AgentFun.AI provides an ecosystem for creating, developing, and trading AI agents. Below is an overview of its core functionality:

1. Creating an AI Agent

Users can create AI agents using one of two engine options:

Classic: Generates a basic AI agent capable of engaging in private conversations with users.

Eliza: A more advanced engine that allows detailed customization of the agent’s persona and enables interaction across multiple social platforms, such as Telegram, Discord, and X.

The agent creation process involves the following steps:

Basic Information: Define the agent’s name, token ticker (e.g., AGENTFUN), and a brief story to share with the community.

Persona Crafting: Specify the agent’s appearance, personality, speaking style, emotions, preferences, and goals in detail. For example, an agent could be designed to act as a crypto influencer active in the market.

Social Connections: Link the agent to social media platforms like X, Telegram, or Discord for community interaction.

Payment: A fee of 1 AGENTFUN token is required to create an agent, which can be acquired from partner DEXs like H2 Finance or VVS Finance.

2. Agent Development and Graduation

Each created agent has a “launch pool” where its tokens are paired with AGENTFUN. Tokens are sold using a constant-product bonding curve mechanism, where the price increases quadratically as the token supply decreases, benefiting early supporters.

An agent “graduates” when only 200 million tokens remain in the launch pool.

Post-graduation, the tokens are transferred to a new liquidity pool on partner DEXs like H2 Finance or VVS Finance, where they can be freely traded.

At graduation, a 1% fee is applied to the total token supply to support the platform’s sustainability.

3. Agent Features and Unlocking

AI agents gain new capabilities as they hit specific milestones, which are unlocked through community token purchases:

Message Board: Enables direct interaction with the agent on the platform’s website (unlocked when 40% of tokens are sold).

X Integration: Allows the agent to generate content and engage with users on the X platform.

Telegram and Discord Bots: Enables the agent to interact with communities on these platforms.

Additional features will be introduced as the platform evolves.

4. Token Trading

Graduated agents’ tokens can be traded on decentralized exchanges like H2 Finance (Cronos zkEVM) or VVS Finance (Cronos EVM). Each token transaction incurs a 1% fee, which supports the platform’s future development.

AGENTFUN Tokenomics

The AGENTFUN token is the platform’s native token with a total supply of 100 million tokens, distributed as follows:

Cronos EVM: 5,000,001 tokens

Cronos zkEVM: 94,999,999 tokens

Token Distribution:

Community, Liquidity, and Presale: 54%

Treasury: 25%

Marketing and Partnerships: 21%

Token Utility:

Agent Creation: A 1 AGENTFUN fee is required to create a new agent.

Bonding Curve: New agent tokens can only be purchased with AGENTFUN.

Liquidity Pool: Graduated agent tokens are paired with AGENTFUN in liquidity pools.

Routing Currency: All graduated agent tokens on DEXs are routed through AGENTFUN pools, enabling liquidity providers to earn swap fees.

Advantages of AgentFun.AI

AgentFun.AI combines AI and blockchain to offer the following benefits:

Creative Freedom: Users can design personalized AI agents to bring their visions to life.

Community-Driven: Agents build fanbases and are governed by token holders.

CZ says the Binance token listing process is flawed and proposes an automation reform for the listing process.

Changpeng Zhao, co-founder and former CEO of Binance, pointed out the flaws in the token listing processes on centralized exchanges (CEXs), emphasizing the need for a fairer and more organized system.

Tokens listed on major exchanges like Binance, Coinbase, and Kraken attract significant interest from investors. These exchanges can drive token prices up with the liquidity they provide. However, according to Zhao, the current listing process contains serious issues.

Zhao noted that one of the biggest problems is the short time between the announcement and the listing. According to him, after the announcement, token prices rise rapidly on decentralized exchanges (DEXs), and investors take advantage of this opportunity to sell on centralized exchanges.

“I think Binance’s listing process is somewhat flawed. An announcement is made, and the listing happens within 4 hours. Notification time is necessary, but during this process, prices rise quickly on DEXs, and investors sell on CEXs,” Zhao said, arguing that a more transparent and balanced listing system is needed.

CZ Highlights DEX Listing Strategies

Decentralized exchanges (DEXs) offer experienced investors an opportunity to discover new crypto projects early. Many investors buy these tokens before listing announcements on centralized exchanges (CEXs) to take advantage of the price increases that follow listing. However, this strategy creates significant selling pressure when tokens begin trading on CEXs.

Changpeng Zhao, co-founder of Binance, pointed out this imbalance, arguing that a healthier listing mechanism is needed. His remarks came shortly after Binance listed the Test (TST) token. Initially developed for educational purposes within the BNB Chain ecosystem, TST was quickly embraced by investors as a meme token.

The TST token briefly surged to a market cap of $489 million on February 9, according to CoinMarketCap data, before falling over 50% to $192 million.

The name of the TST token briefly appeared for just one second in a BNB Chain tutorial video for the Four.Meme platform, solely for test purposes.

Although Zhao clarified that the video was not meant to “endorse” the token, influencer communities based in China started promoting it, which drove its market cap higher.

Zhao: CEXs Should List “Automatically,” Just Like DEXs

Following the surprising rise of the TST coin, Zhao acknowledged that CEX listing procedures need to be improved.

Zhao stated that implementing automatic token listing procedures, similar to DEXs, could be part of the solution, adding: “I think CEX should list (almost) everything automatically, just like DEX. But I am not running a CEX anymore.”

Zhao clarified that his remarks came from an “outsider’s perspective,” as he is no longer involved in the listing process on Binance or other CEXs.

Fair Launch Tokens May Replace CEX Listings

Concerns about CEX listing practices have grown in recent years. As of May 2024, more than 80% of tokens listed on Binance lost value in the first six months after their debut.

However, the decentralized launch of the Hyperliquid (HYPE) token, which performed the most valuable airdrop in crypto history worth $7.5 billion, could mark the beginning of a “new era” for onchain fair launch cryptocurrencies.

Vitali Dervoed, co-founder and CEO of Composability Labs, stated, “The HYPE token launch marks the beginning of the new era between centralized exchange listings and onchain […] Because HYPE was launched by the protocol on its order book on its own layer 1.”

Dervoed added that the token “was not deployed on any centralized venue” but was launched and fairly priced by the crypto community.

Binance Alpha has introduced a pre-listing pool to enhance trust in the token evaluation process for exchange listings.

Binance, the world’s leading blockchain ecosystem behind the largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume and users, has announced the launch of Binance Alpha, a platform within Binance Wallet (formerly known as Binance Web3 Wallet), designed to highlight early-stage projects and help users explore Alpha opportunities.

Specifically, Binance Alpha serves as a platform to showcase tokens that could potentially be listed on Binance Exchange in the future.

Winson Liu, Global Lead of Binance Wallet:

“Binance Alpha serves as a pre-listing token selection pool to enhance trust in the token evaluation process for Binance Exchange listings.”

“Binance Alpha strengthens community trust by publicly showcasing a curated collection of early-stage projects, allowing users to gain insights into tokens with future growth potential within the Binance ecosystem,” he said.

Tokens featured on Binance Alpha are selected using Binance’s industry expertise and advanced insights, with a focus on projects that demonstrate strong community interest, growing traction, and alignment with key trends shaping the crypto ecosystem.

Binance Alpha also aims to provide users with valuable insights into the Web3 space, helping them gain a deeper understanding of the potential to shape the future of blockchain technology.

Binance New Token Announcements

Announcements about new tokens on Binance Alpha will be shared on Binance Wallet and Binance’s official social channels before the launch. A countdown timer and chain details will be available in the Markets tab of Binance Wallet.

Tokens will go live in batches for a 24-hour showcase period, during which users can explore project details and purchase tokens using the Quick Buy feature.

After the showcase period ends, the featured tokens will remain in the same Alpha section in the Markets tab, where users can continue to track and trade them.

What Is Quick Buy?

The “Quick Buy” feature optimizes the existing Swap functionality within Binance Wallet, enhancing the trading experience. This innovation enables faster and smoother transactions compared to other decentralized exchanges (DEXs) or trading bots, offering higher success rates and better prices.

Key improvements include the automatic selection of the native chain’s token, setting the default trading amount based on wallet holdings, automatic slippage adjustments during retries to improve transaction success rates, and an anti-MEV mechanism to reduce the effects of Maximal Extractable Value (MEV) on large transactions, ensuring better prices for users.
