RAX Finance is a full-stack infrastructure finance protocol aiming to tokenize the two core inputs of the AI era — compute power (GPU/Compute) and energy — as Real World Assets (RWAs).

Simply put:

RAX brings data-center GPUs and the electricity that powers them on-chain, turning them into tradable, yield-generating digital assets.

The premise is straightforward: AI is growing fast, GPUs are scarce; GPUs exist, but energy is expensive. RAX positions itself directly at this bottleneck.

What Is RAX Finance?

The project was previously known as HashPower (HPX) and rebranded to RAX Finance in 2025. With this transition, the focus shifted entirely to AI infrastructure, repositioning RAX as an AI-native RWA blockchain project that tokenizes physical resources such as GPU compute and energy.

RAX Finance describes itself as “the sovereign financial layer for AI infrastructure.” But it doesn’t resemble traditional DeFi protocols. Yield here doesn’t come from speculative trading — it comes from real machines running and real kilowatts consumed. By bringing massive server farms and compute capacity on-chain, RAX offers investors direct exposure to AI infrastructure.

RAX does the following:

Tokenizes GPU clusters (Compute RWAs)

Tokenizes data-center electricity (Energy RWAs)

Combines both into a unified on-chain market

Distributes the resulting cash flows to investors

Yield comes from physical infrastructure, not trading.

That part matters.

Team and Founders

Individual founders are not publicly disclosed. RAX currently presents itself with an infrastructure-first, institutional profile.

The core team reportedly includes:

Engineers with AI infrastructure and data-center backgrounds

Operations staff with energy-market experience

Web3 developers specialized in RWA and stablecoin architecture

It’s a “stealth-institutional” approach — system over personalities.

Project Thesis

RAX’s central thesis:

GPU and energy will become the next global asset class.

Today:

GPU → expensive hardware
Electricity → operating expense

RAX’s vision:

GPU → income-generating financial instruments
Energy → on-chain, bond-like yield assets

Accordingly, RAX introduces two primary asset types:

Compute RWAs – Net rental income from GPU/TPU leasing

Energy RWAs – Utility yield from data-center electricity payments

The key innovation is internalizing what is typically ~40% of OpEx (electricity) back into the protocol.

Internally, they call this OpEx → TVL conversion.

How Does RAX Work?

RAX separates capital into two rails:

1) Stablecoin Rail (Savings Layer)

Users deposit USDT/USDC → mint USDR → stake sUSDR.

Most funds are held in:

US Treasury Bills (risk-free rate)

A smaller portion is deployed as:

Senior loans to verified GPU and energy providers

Interest plus a share of compute revenue is distributed to stakers.
This pool has priority settlement during stress events.

2) AI Infra Asset Rail (Investment Layer)

Here, users directly own tokenized physical assets:

Specific GPU batches

Specific energy infrastructure

These tokens can be:

Traded

Staked

Used to earn real rental and electricity income

Effectively, it functions like on-chain ownership of data-center infrastructure.

Protocol Revenue Model

RAX Finance isn’t just a yield distributor — it operates as a multi-revenue infrastructure protocol.

Primary revenue sources include:

Compute RWA trading and settlement fees

Energy Series infrastructure service fees

USDR mint/burn spreads

Interest from stablecoin credit lines

Future DAO-directed protocol revenues

The goal is to distribute physical cash flows while building sustainable protocol income.

Governance

The DAO is not yet live.

According to the roadmap:

RAX Token launches first

DAO formation follows

Committees for listings, risk, oracle/compliance, and treasury are created

For now, governance remains with the core team — a “product first, governance later” approach.

Roadmap: What’s Next?

RAX is currently in its Foundation phase. Bridges across Ethereum, Base, and BNB are being deployed, and initial GPU providers are onboarding. The RAX Token is not yet live, making the current waitlist and points system critical for early participants.

After TGE, governance will transition to a community-led DAO.

Token Utility (Planned)

The RAX Token is not live yet, but intended utilities include:

Governance voting

Staking

Protocol revenue sharing

Infrastructure and listing fees

A standard utility + governance hybrid.

Investors and Partnerships

As of June 2025, RAX Finance raised $4M in strategic funding, led by HashKey Capital, with participation from FBG Capital, DePIN X, and Hailstone Labs.

These backers provide early institutional credibility, particularly within Asia’s crypto capital markets.

Key ecosystem integrations include:

RAX also collaborates with numerous DePIN, AI, and RWA projects, positioning itself as an infrastructure coordination layer.

Ecosystem

The RAX ecosystem consists of:

Compute providers

RAX Finance is fundamentally different from typical “AI + crypto” projects.

The focus isn’t:

Auki (AUKI) is a decentralized infrastructure project designed to allow AI and digital devices to perceive the physical world with a shared understanding. At its core is posemesh, enabling robots, augmented reality (AR) glasses, mobile devices, and other XR hardware to interpret physical spaces within the same reference frame. Auki is built on the premise that making the physical world accessible to AI will significantly expand the global AI market.

Today, a large portion of the global economy still relies on physical locations and human labor. Auki bridges this gap by making these physical environments interoperable with digital systems.

Project Concept

Auki addresses the limitation of AI systems that perceive the physical world individually and in isolation. Devices typically map their surroundings independently, with data rarely shared or sent to centralized platforms. Auki proposes a decentralized system where devices can temporarily collaborate to create shared spatial awareness.

Instead of creating a single, massive “digital twin” of the world, Auki enables smaller, interconnected domains that can adapt to local needs and collaborate seamlessly.

How It Works

The Auki Network operates on the posemesh protocol. This protocol allows devices to:

Share location, orientation, and environmental sensing data

Distribute computational and spatial processing across the network

Collaborate without sending data to a central server

Visual-inertial odometry improves spatial accuracy by reducing GPS uncertainty. Posemesh domains correspond to physical spaces, enabling shared AR experiences.

Team & Founders

Auki was founded by a multidisciplinary team:

Nils Pihl (Founder & CEO): Expertise in behavioral engineering and data science.

Santeri Aramo (Founder & COO): Software and blockchain infrastructure specialist.

Robin Lindh: Spatial computing and AR systems.

Elden Tse: Computer vision and sensor fusion engineer.

The team focuses not only on software but also on robotics and hardware integration.

Investors & Notable Partnerships

Datagram Network is a decentralized communication infrastructure and dApp platform built on an Avalanche-based sovereign Layer 1 blockchain. It is multi-chain compatible (Ethereum, Solana, etc.) and supported by hundreds of thousands of nodes across 150+ countries. The network aims to overcome the cost, inefficiency, and centralization issues of traditional cloud infrastructure.

DGRAM brings the concept of a datagram, a connectionless and fast unit of data in traditional networks, into a decentralized environment. Powered by an AI-driven Hyper-Fabric Network, it enables real-time connectivity and DePIN cross-network interoperability. The network provides a foundational layer for users and decentralized applications to communicate securely, privately, and without reliance on a central authority, enhancing efficiency and reducing costs for Web3 applications, AI workloads, gaming, and real-time communication.

Project Concept

Datagram Network’s core vision is to create a privacy-focused data transport layer through its AI-driven Hyper Network Layer. This infrastructure supports not only messaging but also a wide range of high-performance dApps such as gaming, AI/ML, and CDN, providing a fast and anonymous network foundation.

How the Project Works

Datagram operates through four main components:

Hyper Network Layer: AI-powered coordination system optimizing traffic routing, load balancing, and resource allocation in real time.

Datagram Core Substrate (DCS): Integrates existing DePIN projects into the network while offering additional computing, storage, and bandwidth resources.

Node Network: Composed of Full Core, Partner Core, Device Core, Hardened Core, and Consumer Core nodes forming the backbone of the network.

Peaq Network is a Layer 1 blockchain specifically designed to support Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Networks (DePIN) and machine RWA (Real World Assets). Its modular DePIN features facilitate the construction of various decentralized physical infrastructure projects. This article explores the Peaq project and its potential solutions for DePIN projects and applications.

In early 2024, Peaq completed a $15 million funding round, led by Generative Ventures and Borderless Capital, as it prepares for its upcoming mainnet launch and the listing of its native token, PEAQ. According to Messari, the DePIN industry’s market size is expected to reach $3.5 trillion by 2028, highlighting the potential of the DePIN market.

Peaq’s technical strength is evident in its modular DePIN features and multi-layer data validation framework. The first feature enables developers to rapidly build DePIN projects, while the second ensures data accuracy and integrity, a crucial factor for decentralized systems, particularly in IoT applications.

Peaq Network’s strong strategic vision and technological infrastructure make it a formidable competitor in the DePIN arena, ready to meet the growing demand for decentralized physical infrastructure solutions.

Project Overview

Founded in May 2020, Peaq Network is a pioneering Layer 1 blockchain designed specifically to support Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Networks (DePIN) and machine RWA (Real World Assets). As the crypto economy grows, the demand for decentralized solutions that integrate physical infrastructure with blockchain technology has become more critical than ever. Peaq Network addresses this need by offering a robust platform that seamlessly integrates physical assets into the blockchain ecosystem.

With parallel block production, asynchronous support, and agile core timing, Peaq Network can scale to 10,000 TPS (transactions per second), with potential upgrades allowing it to surpass 100,000 TPS.

Investors and Funding Status

Since its inception, Peaq Network has completed four funding rounds and one CoinList community sale.

Pre-seed: In October 2020, Peaq raised €750,000 from prominent investors in Germany. This investment will help Peaq form a partnership with the Bosch Group for use in automotive production and operations.

Seed Round: In June 2021, Peaq secured €2.5 million, which will be used to expand Peaq’s blockchain solutions and launch new projects.

Private Round: In June 2022, Peaq raised $6 million to help build an advanced development team and launch new products.

Pre-IPO Private Round: In March 2023, Peaq raised $15 million to expand its ecosystem and develop new DePIN projects.

Community Sale: In May 2023, Peaq completed a token sale on the CoinList platform, raising $20 million.

PEAQ Token Economics

The native token of the Peaq Network is PEAQ, which plays a crucial role in the network’s operations, governance, and incentive mechanisms. Built on the Substrate framework, PEAQ benefits from the security and scalability of the Polkadot ecosystem.

Token Use Cases

Transaction Fees: PEAQ is used to pay for transaction fees within the network.

On-chain Governance: PEAQ holders can participate in network governance, voting on proposals and protocol upgrades.

Node Staking: PEAQ can be staked to contribute to network security.

Device Reputation Proof: Device owners stake PEAQ to guarantee the reliability of their machines.

Distribution and Vesting

The total supply of PEAQ is 4.2 billion, distributed as follows:

Pre-seed: 294 million tokens (7%)

Seed Round: 210 million tokens (5%)

Private Sale Round: 546 million tokens (13%)

Pre-IPO Private Sale: 378 million tokens (9%)

Community Sale: 252 million tokens (6%)

Project Team: 840 million tokens (20%)

Network Security: 210 million tokens (5%)

Ecosystem and Vault: 840 million tokens (20%)

Community Program: 630 million tokens (15%)

Testnet – Krest

Peaq’s testnet is called Krest, providing a simulated testing environment for DePIN projects on the Peaq platform. Krest tokens were initially distributed in August 2023.

Peaq Network continues to make significant contributions to the future development of DePIN projects.
