A major step has been taken in the DeFi world. Jupiter Wallet for Desktop has been announced as the most advanced desktop wallet in the Solana ecosystem. Building on its success in mobile, Jupiter now aims to offer users an experience that is both simple and professional.

Jupiter Wallet for Desktop: Features

The new wallet application brings together the most essential features in one place:

Gasless transactions

Deep integration with Jupiter products

Built-in PnL (profit and loss) analysis

10x lower fees compared to competitors

Following the strong interest in its mobile app, the Jupiter team designed and developed the desktop version from scratch. The goal: easy for beginners, yet comprehensive for professional traders.

Today marks a giant leap for DeFi.

Introducing Jupiter Wallet for Desktop – the most advanced Solana wallet is finally here!

• Gasless trading
• Deep integration w/Jupiter products
• PnL analysis
• 10x lower fees than any other wallet

And so much more pic.twitter.com/UKf3itRO2n

Jupiter Sync: Easy Synchronization

Switching between wallets is now much easier. With Jupiter Sync, users can synchronize between desktop and mobile wallets simply by scanning a QR code.

Thanks to this feature, wallets can be managed securely without having to enter a seed phrase.

Ultra Infrastructure for Lower Fees

While many wallets charge transaction fees of up to 1.5%, Jupiter Wallet, powered by Ultra, offers fees as low as 0.1%.

In addition, users benefit from:

Juno routing for the best prices and lowest slippage

Optimized transaction landing

MEV protection

Gasless support

All designed to deliver a top-tier experience.

Deep Integration and Fast Transactions

From swaps to perpetual trading, lending protocols to auto-approve transactions, Jupiter Wallet is fully integrated with all Jupiter products. This allows users to access the entire ecosystem quickly through a single wallet.

Advanced PnL Analysis

Performance tracking, crucial for professional traders, is now built directly into the wallet. Users can view detailed PnL analysis by wallet and token, tracking their full history from a single dashboard.

No more spreadsheets, no more guessing—just precise data-driven insights.

Security and Hardware Wallet Support

Security lies at the core of the application. Audited by Offside Labs, Jupiter Wallet also supports major hardware wallets. Users can securely connect Ledger, Trezor, and Keystone devices.

Create a Wallet with Social Accounts

For newcomers, one of the most notable features is social login wallet creation. By signing in with Google, Apple, Discord, or X, users can create a wallet within seconds.

This eliminates the risk of losing a seed phrase altogether.

The world of artificial intelligence and blockchain is rapidly merging, resulting in groundbreaking projects. One of these projects, AI16Z, is drawing attention with its innovative technology and the success it has achieved in a short period. So, what exactly is AI16Z Coin? Here’s the breakdown:

AI16Z is a meme coin developed on the Solana network. Its name combines the words “AI16Z” and “Eliza,” inspired by one of the earliest artificial intelligence chatbots from the 1960s, Eliza.

AI16Z is designed as an AI chatbot, intended for use on social media platforms such as X (formerly Twitter) and Discord. This AI agent can create artificial copies of both real people and fictional characters.

AI16Z’s Applications:

AI-Based Chatbots: Offers customized AI chat experiences based on real or fictional personalities.

Memecoin Community: Actively participates in community-driven projects and humorous content.

Memefund and DAOs: Facilitates the creation of Solana-based funds that allow users to invest in popular memecoins and trending projects.

History and Success of AI16Z

AI16Z was launched on November 16, 2024, by an anonymous developer group through the vvaifu.fun platform. The project came to fruition after Shaw, the founder of the Eliza AI platform, expressed openness to the community creating a token based on Eliza.

As of December 31, 2024, the AI16Z token’s market capitalization has surpassed $2 billion. The token price has increased by more than 40% in the past 24 hours. This rapid rise indicates the project is gaining significant momentum and attracting the attention of the crypto community.

Eliza and AI16Z Partnerships

AICombinator Program: On November 18, 2024, AI16Z and Ryze Labs launched a $5 million fund to support AI projects. This fund aims to provide early access to innovative features within the Eliza ecosystem.

New Developer Tools: The AI16Z ecosystem is opening doors for other projects, providing features tailored to memecoin initiatives.

AI16Z has started a new trend by combining both artificial intelligence and blockchain ecosystems. With Eliza becoming a strong part of meme culture, it brings together community power and technology to carve out a significant space in the crypto world.

If you want to be part of the intersection between AI and blockchain projects, AI16Z could be the right option for you. However, always remember to conduct thorough research before making any investment decisions.

After being taken for around four hours on Saturday morning, Polygon has recovered control of its community Discord, purportedly resulting in the theft of roughly $145,000 in assets from one member.

“We now have access and have locked the Polygon community discord server. While we examine every external bot and integration to prevent this from happening once more, all of them have been disabled,” Polygon stated on X.

At about 5 a.m. GMT, a false message appeared on the Polygon Discord, apparently from the account of its community lead, Smokey, as contemporaneous screenshots reveal. Along with a phishing link, the message promoted a “special pre-migration” airdrop ahead of the Polygon network’s intended conversion from its native MATIC token to the improved POL token, set for September 4.

At least one user says they fell victim to the attack, and blockchain evidence supports their allegation of losing a Uniswap position valued at roughly $145,000 in the hack. Though it’s not apparent when the repost occurred, the transfer transaction took place roughly forty minutes after Polygon’s chief information security officer, Mudit Gupta, informed the Polygon community of the hack via a post on X.

The wallet address used for the Uniswap transaction, which most likely belongs to the hacker, seems to have claimed former victims. Ten days ago, the wallet moved ether valued at $72,300 at the time to a wallet identified by Etherscan as a phishing agent currently possessing about $400,000 in assets. The wallet moved $29,500 worth of ether five days ago to another, similarly flagged wallet with $150,000 in assets.

The crew of Polygon is not clear right now on the method of compromise for their Discord. “At this moment, we don’t believe any of our mods were compromised this way (being phished). It seems more likely that a bot/integration we had was compromised. Still going through the logs,” Gupta stated on X.

“A verified account associated with a well-known media outlet contacted one of our employees. Unfortunately, it appears that this account was compromised, leading to a phishing attack against our employee. We quickly detected the intrusion and deleted the relevant tweets within minutes. Based on our investigations, there is no significant loss due to this incident.”

In addition, the Discord on Certik’s official website was replaced with a fake Discord containing phishing links.

Incident Timeline

In its statement on X, the major blockchain security firm Certik shared the action it took against the hack, step by step with the times. It also stated that there was no significant loss in this incident.

“-The security of the Twitter account was compromised and a tweet containing a phishing link was posted. -We detected the security breach and initiated the recovery process. -The first phishing tweet was deleted. -We completed the initial investigation and the risk has been eliminated.”

What is Kamino Finance?

Kamino Finance is a decentralized finance protocol that operates on the Solana ecosystem, enabling debt issuance, borrowing, and trading.

Kamino Finance incorporates a host of financial applications, including debt issuance, borrowing, liquidity provision, beta-phase multiply, and leveraged transactions.

Borrowing: By providing liquidity on the platform (which is used as collateral), users can borrow in accordance with the dollar equivalent at that time. This loan is repaid at an annual interest rate.

Lending: By providing liquidity on the platform, users can earn interest returns at the annual percentage rate offered.

Multiply (Beta): Users set a multiplier on the platform and invest sol or liquid-staked assets. They are then provided a loan through JitoSol and earn APY returns at your multiplier rate. The application also includes various tools, such as a risk simulator.

K-Lend:

Kamino lends or K-lend is a dApp that combines the advanced liquidity provider features of high-infrastructure liquidity lending platforms like Aave, Curve, and Uni. It forms the basis of Kamino 2.0.

K-lend aims to combine various features such as an advanced risk management mechanism (benefiting from Oracle), eMode technology used in Aave v3 (customized leverage mechanism), a single pool liquidity system, and protected collateral in the K-lend dApp.

Airdrop and Token Allocation

As of the writing of this article, Kamino has a TVL of 135 million dollars and is the fifth largest in the Solana network. Kamino, which came to the agenda with an airdrop and stirred up the Solana ecosystem with its partnership with Jito and having no circulating tokens, has brought up airdrop questions.

On November 28th, Kamino announced a scoring system on their Medium page and will soon disclose the details and requirements of this system. Assuming that this scoring will be like other lending platforms (Marginfi and JTO);

Staking SOL or another supported asset on the platform

The amount of time and stake amount on the platform

Borrowing and lending

Generating TX at different times

Referral points

These conditions can be set, and after these conditions, your rank is determined, and if there will be an airdrop, the amount of token that will be given to you can be given under these conditions.

It is hard to predict this amount at this stage but JTO distributed 10% of the supply. Generally, projects distribute 5% to 10% of supply through airdrops. Presuming a token market cap of approximately 350M dollars, we could consider a 35M dollar airdrop.

Kamino Finance Team

While there isn’t sufficient information about the team, we can see that there are 13 employees on LinkedIn and only four profiles are open. Although the team is not often on camera, they are active on Discord and have made various posts regarding the project.
