The crypto markets kicked off July with increased ETF activity. On July 2, 2025, spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded a total of $407.8 million in net inflows, while spot Ethereum ETFs saw a net outflow of $1.9 million.

This highlights that institutional interest remains largely focused on Bitcoin.

Strong Inflows into Bitcoin ETFs

As of July 2, the most notable inflows were as follows:

FBTC: +$184 million

ARKB: +$83 million

GBTC: +$34.6 million

BTC: +$16.5 million

BTCO: +$9.9 million

EZBC: +$9.5 million

HODL: +$5.4 million

Total net inflow: $407.8 million

These strong inflows indicate that spot Bitcoin ETFs are regaining investor confidence, with institutional capital flowing back into the market.

Modest Outflows from Ethereum ETFs

On the Ethereum side, the data paints a more cautious picture:

ETH: +$8.1 million

ETHW: +$8.3 million

ETHV: +$2.8 million

Other ETFs showed zero net movement.

In total, this results in a net outflow of $1.9 million across Ethereum ETFs.

This suggests that interest in Ethereum ETFs has yet to reach desired levels, with investors showing more caution compared to Bitcoin.

Where Is Institutional Interest Focused?

The data reveals a clear trend: growing institutional demand for Bitcoin ETFs, while Ethereum products still struggle to attract significant volume.

Key reasons behind this discrepancy include:

Bitcoin’s position as the market leader and its clearer regulatory framework

Institutional investors still favoring Bitcoin-focused strategies over alternatives

One of the clearest signs of institutional interest in the crypto market continues to be observed in Bitcoin and Ethereum ETF products. On June 30, 2025, Bitcoin ETFs recorded a net inflow of $102.1 million, while Ethereum ETFs saw $31.8 million in net inflows.

Leader Among Bitcoin ETFs: IBIT

Looking specifically at spot Bitcoin ETFs, the majority of the investment flow came through IBIT, which alone recorded +$112.3 million in inflows. On the other hand, the ARKB fund saw an outflow of -$10.2 million. The rest of the funds showed no movement.

GBTC, FBTC, BITB, BTCO, HODL, BRRR, EZBC, BTCW, BTC: 0

Total Net Inflow: $102.10 million

This data shows that the IBIT fund continues to earn the trust of investors and stands out in portfolio diversification.

Ethereum ETFs More Limited but Stable

On June 30, Ethereum ETFs also showed a positive picture. The ETHA fund recorded +$6.1 million, while FETH saw +$25.7 million in inflows. There were no changes in the other funds.

Total Net Inflow: $31.80 million

Although interest in Ethereum ETFs seems more cautious, the flow into FETH reflects investors’ continued long-term confidence in ETH.

Institutional Confidence Grows Each Day

The inflows recorded on the last day of June clearly demonstrate that institutional confidence in both Bitcoin and Ethereum remains high. The continuation of such inflows even during periods of increased volatility indicates that the crypto market is becoming increasingly mature.

Investors Await a Rate Cut!

Meanwhile, White House sources have brought rate cut expectations back into focus. President Trump reportedly sent a handwritten note to Fed Chairman Powell, demanding lower interest rates. It was also noted that Trump believes Powell acted “too late.”

White House officials emphasized that high interest rates remain a serious issue. These statements have increased the probability of a rate cut in September. July is still seen as a weak possibility. However, institutional inflows into ETFs may further increase in the coming weeks, driven by growing expectations of monetary easing.

The selling pressure in Bitcoin ETFs continues unabated. According to the latest data, a total of $157.80 million in net outflows was observed from ETFs. The majority of this outflow came from FBTC. FBTC saw an outflow of $85.40 million, while no outflows were recorded in other major ETFs (GBTC, IBIT, ARKB, BITB, BTCO, HODL, BRRR, EZBC, BTCW).

In total, there was a $157.80 million outflow. This highlights the significant selling pressure in Bitcoin ETFs and reflects investors’ tendencies to avoid risk. The large outflows from FBTC reflect investors’ fears stemming from market uncertainty.

Limited Inflows to Ethereum ETFs: $3.60 Million Movement

Ethereum ETFs have experienced a $3.60 million net outflow according to the latest data. However, the majority of this outflow came from ETH.
In total, there was a $3.60 million outflow. This shows the significant selling pressure in Ethereum ETFs, with investors tending to avoid risk due to general market uncertainty. The large outflows from ETH and ETHW indicate a decline in investor confidence in Ethereum.

Significant Movements in Bitcoin and Ethereum Spot ETFs on March 25

On March 25, Bitcoin spot ETFs saw a total net inflow of $26.8344 million, marking the 8th consecutive day of net inflows. The total net assets of Bitcoin spot ETFs reached $99.072 billion, representing 5.68% of Bitcoin’s total market value. During this period, BlackRock iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) led with a net inflow of $42.03 million, while Bitwise Bitcoin Strategy ETF (BITB) experienced a net outflow of $10.06 million.

On the other hand, Ethereum spot ETFs saw a net outflow of $3.3 million. Grayscale Ethereum Trust (ETHE) experienced a net outflow of $1.8 million, and Invesco Galaxy Ethereum ETF (QETH) saw a net outflow of $1.5 million. Other Ethereum ETFs showed no significant changes. This development reflects a decline in investor interest in Ethereum ETFs, while Bitcoin ETFs’ strong performance continues to dominate compared to Ethereum.

ETH Spot ETF Outflows and Investor Strategies

The increased investments in ETFs within the cryptocurrency market signal rising institutional interest in digital assets and indicate that the market is broadening its appeal to a wider audience. However, the outflows from Ethereum spot ETFs could be attributed to various factors such as market volatility, profit-taking, changes in investor sentiment, or specific issues related to the funds. These outflows highlight the need for crypto investors to reassess their risk tolerance, strategies, and portfolio diversification.

Ethereum ETFs aim to reach a broader investor base by offering regulated investment products. However, these products face challenges such as volatility and tracking errors. Additionally, the ETF market is still in its developmental phase, and future opportunities and challenges should not be overlooked.

The cryptocurrency market continues to surprise its investors with its volatile nature. On March 20, 2025, there were notable movements in both Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) spot ETFs. Bitcoin ETFs saw a total inflow of +1.91K, while Ethereum ETFs experienced an outflow of -6.08K.

Bitcoin ETFs Show Investor Uncertainty

On March 20, a total of +1.91K net inflows were observed in spot Bitcoin ETFs. While these inflows present a positive signal for the market, there has been a notable increase in outflows from certain large funds. This situation has led to investor uncertainty, strengthening concerns about Bitcoin’s short-term direction and creating a negative sentiment in the market.

Ethereum ETFs Show a Different Trend!

On March 20, Ethereum ETFs experienced a general outflow, with a total of -6.08K recorded. The largest outflows came from the ETHE and FETH funds. ETHE saw the biggest outflow of -4.38K, while FETH experienced a -1.70K outflow.
Unlike the outflows in Bitcoin ETFs, investors appear to be more cautious in the Ethereum market, and interest in ETH investments seems to have declined.

ETF Market Overview

As of March 20, Bitcoin ETFs saw a 1.91K net inflow, while Ethereum ETFs experienced -6.08K outflows. The inflows in Bitcoin ETFs suggest increased investor interest and positive expectations for Bitcoin’s future. On the other hand, the outflows from the ETHA fund indicate that some investors are more cautious, considering short-term risks and signaling growing uncertainties surrounding Ethereum.

The inflows in BTC ETFs reflect an increase in market risk appetite, while the outflows in ETH ETFs suggest a more cautious stance towards Ethereum. The contrasting fund flows between Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs highlight the varying levels of risk and stability in the markets.

Outflows from Bitcoin ETFs!

Bitcoin ETF’lerinden Çıkışlar!

On March 11, total -4.72K net outflows were recorded from spot Bitcoin ETFs. The impact of custom tariffs is strongly felt in the market, with significant outflows from major funds creating a negative sentiment. This has raised concerns among investors about Bitcoin’s short-term direction.

Here are the details of the outflows from the major Bitcoin ETFs:

IBIT: -1.93K

BTCO: -189.65

BRRR: -43.27

HODL: -7.64

Outflows Observed in Ethereum ETFs!

Significant outflows have also been observed in Ethereum ETFs. Recent data shows a total outflow of -11.58K from Ethereum ETFs. This could be seen as a response to changes in investor risk perception or market uncertainty.

The BlackRock Ethereum ETF (ETHA) experienced a -6.33K outflow, while the Fidelity Ethereum ETF (FETH) saw a -5.26K outflow. No outflows were observed in other Ethereum ETFs.

Current Status of Crypto ETFs: How Will the Market Be Affected?

While large inflows into crypto ETFs have been observed since the beginning of the year, recent outflows have raised questions about whether the market is entering a correction phase. Particularly, the outflows seen in Ethereum have occurred in parallel with Bitcoin, creating an overall sense of uncertainty in the markets.

Market experts suggest that ETF inflows and outflows can have significant effects on Bitcoin and Ethereum prices. These movements are believed to be driven by growing recession fears and global economic uncertainties such as trade tariffs.

The fear of a recession has led investors to avoid risks, while trade tariffs are triggering market volatility and trade wars. This could result in investors moving towards safer assets and withdrawing from the crypto markets. Therefore, experts recommend that investors closely monitor ETF movements in the upcoming period.

The cryptocurrency market continues to surprise investors with its volatile nature. On February 21, 2025, notable movements were observed in Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) spot ETFs. A total outflow of $50.40 million was seen from Bitcoin ETFs, while Ethereum ETFs experienced an outflow of $8.90 million. These movements have raised questions about whether the market is seeking a new direction.

Outflows from Bitcoin ETFs!

On February 21, Bitcoin investors withdrew a total of $50.40 million from spot ETFs, with notable outflows from some large funds. While there were some inflows, they couldn’t match the outflows.

Outflows:

GBTC: –$60.10 million

BITB: –$16.60 million

On the other hand, there were inflows totaling $26.30 million from IBIT and HODL.

IBIT: +$21.60 million

HODL: +$4.70 million

What’s the Situation with Ethereum ETFs?

Ethereum ETFs experienced significant outflows on February 21, with $8.90 million withdrawn from Bitwise’s ETHW fund. Other funds showed no significant inflows or outflows, remaining at zero.

How Will ETF Movements Affect the Crypto Market?

Large outflows from Bitcoin ETFs could put downward pressure on BTC prices.

Strong inflows into Ethereum ETFs may increase bullish expectations for ETH.

While there have been outflows from Grayscale, investors seem to be showing more interest in newer-generation ETFs.

It will be important to closely monitor whether ETF movements continue in the coming days and how the market will react. Particularly, interest rate decisions and macroeconomic developments in the U.S. could directly influence investors’ interest in these funds.
