OKX has announced that it will remove several spot trading pairs from its platform, including ULTI, GEAR, VRA, DAO, CXT, RDNT, and ELON. The announcement was made on January 20, 2026, and reflects the exchange’s ongoing risk assessment and user feedback processes.

The timing of this decision is notable. Recently, liquidity for certain spot pairs has weakened, and price discovery has become less efficient. After thorough evaluation, OKX’s risk control team determined that these pairs no longer meet the platform’s standards for healthy trading.

Focus on Liquidity and Risk

The exchange emphasized that the goal is not simply to remove assets, but to optimize liquidity and provide users with a more predictable trading environment. Low trading volumes, volatile price movements, and increasing user complaints were key factors in this delisting decision.

OKX monitors all listed trading pairs continuously, suggesting that similar actions may be taken for other pairs in the future.

Scheduled Offline Times for USDⓈ and USDT Pairs

According to the official schedule:

USDⓈ pairs: January 27, 2026, 16:00–18:00 (UTC+8)

USDT pairs: January 30, 2026, 16:00–18:00 (UTC+8)

During these periods, new orders will no longer be accepted. Users are advised to cancel open orders in advance to avoid automatic cancellations, which may take 1–3 business days to process.

Impact on Bots, Trading Services, and Transfers

Automated trading bots for affected pairs will be gradually disabled on the delisting day between 03:00–04:00 (UTC+8). Any fees or slippage from automatic closures should be managed in advance by users.

Spot trading services, including instant swaps, will be suspended starting January 24, 2026, 16:00 (UTC+8). After delisting, assets will be transferred to user accounts, and withdrawal and transfer functions will be temporarily disabled before being re-enabled immediately after processing.

Deposit and Withdrawal Timeline

Deposits: Suspended from January 20, 2026, 16:00 (UTC+8)

Withdrawals: Suspended from April 20, 2026, 16:00 (UTC+8)

Users should manage their assets promptly to avoid disruptions. OKX will continue monitoring trading pairs and adjusting as necessary.

Ongoing Monitoring

This decision is part of OKX’s continuous effort to maintain healthy spot markets. Low-liquidity and low-interest tokens remain under observation, and similar delisting measures may occur in the future. Users should stay alert to minimize potential trading risks.
