Binance Launches Two New Perpetual Contracts!

Binance, one of the world’s leading cryptocurrency exchanges, has announced the launch of two new USDⓈ-Margined perpetual contracts on its Futures platform. As of April 25, 2025, MEMEFIUSDT and FISUSDT contracts are available to trade, with up to 50x and 75x leverage respectively.

Trading for MEMEFIUSDT began at 07:15 UTC, followed by FISUSDT at 07:30 UTC. Both contracts are settled in USDT and are available 24/7. Binance also confirmed that these contracts will be integrated into the Futures Copy Trading program within 24 hours of launch.

Binance Continues to List New Generation Projects!

The contracts are backed by innovative projects. MemeFi, originally a tap-to-earn mini-game on Telegram, has evolved into a full-fledged ecosystem with interconnected gaming features. Meanwhile, StaFi (FIS) is recognized as the first DeFi protocol enabling liquidity for staked assets.

Binance Futures Lists New USDC Contracts!

As interest in derivatives trading continues to rise in the cryptocurrency market, Binance Futures is expanding its offerings by adding new trading pairs. The exchange has announced that it will list USDC-margined perpetual contracts between March 5-7.

According to the announcement, KAITOUSDC and IPUSDC contracts will be available on March 5, TRUMPUSDC and ADAUSDC on March 6, and PNUTUSDC and HBARUSDC on March 7. These contracts will offer leverage of up to 25x, while traders can take advantage of zero maker fees and a 20% discount on taker fees until June 4, 2025.

Binance has also stated that the Multi-Assets Mode will allow users to use different cryptocurrencies as collateral when trading these contracts. The Rise in Bitcoin Funding Rates Could Signal a Bull Market!

The Bitcoin futures funding rate is emerging as a bullish signal in the crypto market. According to Coinglass data, the open position-weighted perpetual futures funding rate for Bitcoin has reached a peak in recent months.

Rates exceeding 0.04% on Bitmex and 0.03% on Binance indicate that traders in the derivatives market are holding long positions.

Analysts predict that Trump’s presidential election victory could further increase this positive funding rate. Deribit CEO Luuk Strijers said, “A high positive funding rate indicates that investors are more likely to use leverage.” Strijers also points out that perpetual futures have risen more quickly than spot markets.

Outlier Ventures Research Director Jasper De Maere also considers the increase in open positions as a “confirming signal for a bullish trend.” De Maere emphasizes that the high funding rates on exchanges like Bitmex and Binance point to unresolved leveraged positions.

According to The Block, the total open positions for Bitcoin futures on crypto exchanges have reached an all-time high. The total value of open positions on 15 crypto derivative exchanges has surpassed $37 billion.

In a report by Copper.co, it is predicted that Bitcoin could reach $100,000 by the U.S. presidential inauguration on January 20, 2025. Copper.co Research Director Fadi Aboualfa stated that ETFs could accumulate 1.1 million Bitcoin during this period.
