Vision (VSN) is the cornerstone token of Bitpanda’s Web3 ecosystem, an ERC-20 token connecting 6.7 million users to decentralized finance (DeFi), cross-chain trading, and tokenized assets. By merging Bitpanda’s legacy tokens, BEST and Pantos, it simplifies access to services like the Bitpanda Broker (20% fee discounts), DeFi Wallet (staking rewards), and Launchpad (early project access). VSN fosters a user-centric ecosystem that promotes Web3 participation within a regulated framework.

What is Vision (VSN) and What Does It Offer?

VSN is designed as a unified token for Bitpanda’s Web3 vision. Minted on Ethereum with a fixed initial supply of 4.2 billion tokens, VSN delivers functionality at both application and protocol levels. On the Bitpanda Broker, users paying fees with VSN receive a 20% discount, with the same reduction applying to swap fees in the self-custodial Bitpanda DeFi Wallet. Within the wallet, users can stake VSN to earn emission-based yields, with parameters like emission rates, burn schedules, and protocol upgrades determined by token-holder governance. Staking operates on a non-custodial model with a 14-day cooldown period, encouraging long-term engagement.

Gamified on-chain missions integrated into the wallet reward users with VSN bonuses, and staking positions qualify for airdrops distributed via Bitpanda Spotlight. Planned liquidity mining campaigns will enhance base staking yields with partner-funded incentives. VSN unifies the Bitpanda Broker, DeFi Wallet, upcoming Launchpad, and Vision Chain Layer-2 network, aiming to serve as a gateway for regulated Web3 participation in Europe.

Technology and Ecosystem

VSN operates as an ERC-20 token on Ethereum’s Proof-of-Stake consensus mechanism, supporting cross-chain functionality. It integrates with Bitpanda’s ecosystem through:

Vision Chain: An Ethereum Layer-2 network optimized for regulated assets like tokenized securities and commodities.

Vision Protocol: Aggregates decentralized exchanges like 1inch, enabling cross-chain swaps within the Bitpanda DeFi Wallet.

Cross-Chain Integration: Leverages Chainlink’s CCIP protocol for secure transfers across Ethereum, Arbitrum, and Hyperliquid.

VSN transactions are secured by Ethereum’s gas fees, where users set a gas limit (maximum work required) and gas price (ETH amount per gas unit). Higher gas prices prioritize transactions.

Offering and Conversion Process

VSN is offered to existing BEST and PAN token holders through a migration process. Conversion rates are based on the 30-day average closing prices ending March 25, 2025:

1 BEST = 4.91 VSN

1 PAN = 0.89 VSN

Each user’s VSN allocation is calculated by multiplying their BEST and PAN balances by these rates. The starting price is determined by dividing the combined fully diluted valuation (FDV) of BEST and PAN by the 4.2 billion VSN token supply. The Euro-equivalent price is displayed on the Bitpanda platform during the offer period. The offer occurs in two phases:

First Phase (2025-07-09 to 2025-07-16): BEST and PAN holders have 8 calendar days to opt-in to exchange their tokens for VSN. Approved tokens are pooled in TrustVault and converted via the VSN migration smart contract.

Second Phase (Late Migration): Late exchanges are processed in weekly batches directly from Bitpanda’s reserves.

Approximately 2.73 billion VSN (assuming 67% of BEST and 55% of PAN are converted) will enter circulation, with the remaining ~1.47 billion held in the Foundation’s treasury. Post-conversion, BEST and PAN tokens are burned and cease to exist. No fees are charged during the offer, and investors can exercise a withdrawal right within the 8-day period via electronic means (email, customer support), retaining their BEST/PAN balances if they opt out.

Trading and Access

At the end of the first offer phase, VSN aims to be listed for trading on Kraken, followed by other reputable centralized and decentralized exchanges. Access to exchanges requires account registration and KYC/AML verification. Transaction, withdrawal, and other fees are set by exchanges, not controlled by Bitpanda. VSN can be stored in ERC-20-compatible wallets and freely traded on secondary markets.

Governance and Usage

VSN holders can stake tokens via the VSN decentralized application (DApp) and participate in governance votes through snapshot.org, shaping parameters like burn rates and incentive distributions. Rights and obligations can only be modified through successful governance proposals. VSN does not confer claims to dividends, interest, or corporate voting rights against the Foundation or its affiliates, offering only staking and governance functionalities.

Sustainability

VSN operates on Ethereum’s Proof-of-Stake consensus, with low energy consumption (10,348 kWh annually). ESG data is transparently shared via Bitpanda’s third-party providers. Ethereum’s energy-efficient structure mitigates environmental concerns, though some investors may view crypto assets negatively from an ESG perspective.

Mitigation Measures

Rigorous Selection: The Foundation applies strict standards for third-party providers.

Liquidity Management: Buybacks and promotions reduce volatility.

Security: Continuous threat monitoring and bug bounty programs minimize risks.

Governance: On-chain voting enables adaptation to market conditions.

Vision (VSN) bridges regulated finance and decentralized ecosystems, leveraging Bitpanda’s regulatory expertise and user base to drive Web3 adoption. With staking, governance, and fee discounts, it aims to be a gateway to decentralized finance in Europe. Its success depends on balancing compliance with DeFi innovation.

Vision (VSN) Tokenomics and Governance

VSN’s fixed 4.2 billion token supply is managed by the Vision Web3 Foundation. Key mechanisms include:

Burns: A portion of trading, swap, and Launchpad listing fees funds token buybacks and burns.

Staking: Non-custodial staking with a 14-day cooldown encourages long-term participation, targeting a 5% annual emission rate (potentially decreasing over time).

Governance: Quarterly on-chain votes determine emission rates, burns, and protocol upgrades.

The Foundation retains a portion of tokens for liquidity provisioning, staking rewards, promotional activities, and ecosystem grants. Token supply can be dynamically adjusted via governance, with unlimited minting controlled to balance reward distribution and prevent excessive dilution.

Total Supply: 4.2 billion VSN

Public Sale: 0.66% (27.55 million)

Circulating Supply: 65%

Treasury: 20%

Commercial Activities and Ecosystem Grants: 10%

Liquidity Provisioning: 5%

Fully Diluted Valuation (FDV): $462 million USD

Vision (VSN) Partnerships

Vision (VSN), as a token powering the Web3 ecosystem, has established strategic partnerships with leading exchanges and organizations. It is listed on major centralized exchanges like KuCoin, Gate.io, MEXC, and Kraken, ensuring global accessibility. Additionally, collaborations with globally recognized sports clubs like AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain connect sports enthusiasts with Web3. Partners such as Impossible Finance, IMC, Selini, Auros, and Da Vinci support Vision’s innovative projects, liquidity provisioning, and tokenized asset infrastructure, contributing to the ecosystem’s growth.

Gate.io stated that it continues to operate fully with the assurance of $10 billion in reserves against unfounded hacking claims.

GateToken, the native cryptocurrency of the Gate.io exchange, reached a new all-time high despite rumors of a security breach circulating on social media platforms. According to CryptoSlate data, the token rise to $13.79.

This increase came after the exchange swiftly dismissed the hacking claims.

As the exchange’s utility token, it offers benefits such as trading fee discounts, governance participation, and access to token sales within its ecosystem.

Hacking Rumors

In a post on December 13, Gate.io confirmed that all services, including deposits, withdrawals, and trading, remain fully operational.

The company stated:

“The Gate.io security team has not detected any abnormalities, nor have any security agencies reported issues. Deposits, withdrawals, and trading are functioning normally. Please do not believe rumors!”

Similarly, Gate.io’s Chief Business Officer, Kevin Lee, reassured users that the platform is secure and supported by reserves exceeding $10 billion.

Lee revealed plans to host a live session on X to directly address the misinformation. He emphasized the platform’s strong security infrastructure and its commitment to transparency in operations.

The rumors began earlier today when several crypto influencers with large followings on the social media platform X started circulating news of an exploit (breach) on the exchange.

One such account, NaniXBT, admitted to spreading the information without verification. In his post, he mentioned that the claim was based on unverified input from an acquaintance and was shared impulsively in group chats.

However, Lee dismissed the rumor as an attempt to spread fear and promised to counter it with evidence during an X Spaces session later today.

According to CoinMarketCap, Gate.io ranks among the top 20 crypto exchanges globally. In just the last 24 hours, the platform facilitated nearly $7 billion in trading volume and listed over 3,100 tokens.

It’s user base exceeds 19 million, holding assets worth $6.2 billion on the exchange.

ForTube is a decentralized financial services platform focused on the crypto bond market.

What is ForTube?

ForTube, a blockchain project offering decentralized finance (DeFi) services, was established in 2020. Formerly known as The Force Protocol, ForTube aims to make financial services more inclusive by providing global access through ForTube cryptocurrency bonds. The platform seeks to revolutionize traditional banking by offering decentralized banking services.

Cryptocurrency bonds represent a new type of bond where cryptocurrencies are used for payment. These bonds offer two main advantages to the virtual currency market: they provide financing within the digital currency space and introduce fixed-income products that meet investor needs while contributing to the sector. Additionally, cryptocurrency bonds rely on distributed ledger technology (DLT). Built on the Binance Smart Chain, ForTube offers developers a variety of products, including a dApp development kit and APIs. ForTube users can borrow and lend funds on the platform, with interest rates automatically adjusted by the platform.

What is FOR Coin and What is It Used For?

FOR Coin is the native cryptocurrency of the ForTube platform, offering benefits for on-chain payments. As a governance token, FOR provides its holders with various advantages within the network. FOR Coin holders can participate in the platform’s governance, voting on proposals related to its management. Additionally, they can engage in the QIAN ecosystem on matters like stability regulation and global debt auctions. FOR Coin is also a stakeable token.

Users can lock FOR tokens in liquidity pools for a specific period and earn additional token rewards upon maturity. FOR Coin offers holders the right to vote on ForTube platform decisions and earn passive income. Moreover, deposit and interest rates are competitively advantageous compared to other platforms.

Where and How to Buy FOR?

FOR Coin, the native cryptocurrency of the ForTube platform, is listed on several cryptocurrency exchanges, including Binance, PancakeSwap (V2), Gate.io, Huobi, Bitget, MEXC, Upbit, and Bitrue. Investors interested in purchasing FOR should first choose a platform and register. After creating an account, users must complete identity verification. Investors can then buy FOR Coin in their preferred quantity on the trading page. Purchased FOR Coins can be used in transactions or stored securely in wallets for future use.

In light of the recently enacted cryptocurrency law in Turkey, Gate.io has announced the discontinuation of its Turkish language support and marketing activities aimed at Turkish residents. This decision, however, will not impact deposit/withdrawal or trading operations, and the platform will remain accessible to Turkish users.

Crypto Exchanges Embracing Legal Compliance

Following the official publication of the cryptocurrency law in the Official Gazette this week, cryptocurrency exchanges are implementing changes to ensure compliance. Binance had previously announced the gradual removal of Turkish language support and the termination of marketing activities directed towards Turkish users within three months.

Echoing Binance’s decision, Gate.io issued a similar announcement today. The statement reads, “Turkish language support on Gate.io will be discontinued within 3 months. Gate.io’s advertising and marketing activities directed towards Turkish residents will be terminated.”

Platform Access Remains Open

The announcement emphasized that Gate.io’s platform will continue to be accessible to Turkish residents. Gate.io further stated that it will closely monitor any new regulations introduced by the Capital Markets Board of Turkey (SPK) in the future. The exchange also assured users that their funds remain secure under Gate.io’s protection and that the aforementioned changes will not affect deposit/withdrawal or cryptocurrency trading activities.

The world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, Binance, and its rival KuCoin, have been registered with India’s Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU), according to a CoinDesk report. This marks a significant development for the Indian crypto market, as it’s the first time offshore crypto-related entities have received approval from the country’s anti-money laundering unit.

KuCoin Settles Penalty, Resumes Operations

KuCoin has already settled its compliance proceedings with the FIU by paying a $41,000 penalty. This has allowed them to resume operations in India.

Binance, on the other hand, has yet to resume operations. The exchange is currently undergoing a hearing with the FIU to determine its financial penalty. Once the penalty amount is finalized, Binance will be able to complete its compliance process and re-enter the Indian market.

Previous Ban Lifted

This news comes after Binance and KuCoin were among several offshore cryptocurrency exchanges banned by India in December 2023. Other banned entities included Huobi, Kraken, Gate.io, Bittrex, Bitstamp, MEXC Global, and Bitfinex.

Bittensor (TAO), aiming to improve machine learning based on blockchain technology, the future of artificial intelligence? What is it used for?

What is Bittensor (TAO)?

Bittensor is a mining network similar to Bitcoin and provides access to a machine learning model network in a censorship-resistant manner. By using digital incentives and directly rewarding participants, it aims to create a comprehensive, open-source ecosystem in the field of artificial intelligence.

Bittensor, aiming to implement the development of machine learning platforms, brings together the collective intelligence of artificial intelligence models by making the process decentralized and creating a peer-to-peer market for machine intelligence.

How Does It Work?

Bittensor operates on a decentralized network, like Bitcoin. This means there isn’t a singular point of control. Instead of having one centralized server doing all the work, it does its job by spreading it over many different machines owned by individuals, known as miners.

Bittensor uses a unique consensus mechanism to ensure the consensus on the network over the best response. When a question is asked, multiple models (miners) give their responses. The network uses a system to determine the best response and sends this response back to the user.

Miners are the owners of these models. They keep their models running and ready to fulfill their tasks. Miners are rewarded with the ecosystem’s native token for their contributions.

What are the Advantages?

The advantages of Bittensor are as follows:

Decentralized Structure: Bittensor, by offering a decentralized network structure, allows machine learning models to collaborate in a distributed manner worldwide.

Reward System: Machine learning models that contribute to the network and provide knowledge value are rewarded with the TAO token, the ecosystem’s native token.

Energy Efficiency: By using the Proof of Stake (PoS) mechanism, it offers a more efficient energy structure compared to the Proof of Work (PoW) mechanism.

Global Access: As an open-source artificial intelligence repository, it provides a platform that everyone can access.

Distributed Resource Usage: It offers the opportunity to use distributed computing power and innovation resources worldwide within an incentivized framework.

These advantages enable Bittensor to offer an innovative and optimized strategy for the development and distribution of artificial intelligence technology.

The Bittensor Team

In Bittensor’s white paper, similar to Satoshi Nakamoto in Bitcoin, a pseudonym “Yuma Rao” is mentioned. It is not known whether this person really exists and there is no more information about him. However, the names behind the Bittensor Foundation are publicly known. There are many people working for the foundation, some of whom are former Google employees or researchers.

What is TAO?

The TAO token is the native cryptocurrency of the Bittensor network. It has several fundamental functions and purposes within the ecosystem:

Incentive: TAO is used to incentivize various participants in the Bittensor network. Thanks to the reward mechanism, it incentivizes the provision of computing power necessary for decentralized machine learning processes.

Staking: Users need to stake TAO tokens to participate in the network as miners and earn rewards. It also safeguards the network by preventing any participant from exhibiting malicious behavior.

Governance: TAO holders can participate in the governance of the network and vote in decision-making processes such as protocol upgrades.

Transaction Fees: Transactions in the Bittensor network typically require a fee payment. These fees are paid with TAO.

Economic Model: TAO underpins the network’s economic model. It is designed to balance supply and demand for computing resources, harmonize incentives among participants, and facilitate the exchange of value within the ecosystem.

Access to Services: Users who need machine learning services provided by the Bittensor network can pay for these services using TAO.

The total supply of TAO is 21,000,000. The circulating supply at the time when this article was written is 6,327,131 and it is traded at the level of $608.

Where Can $TAO Be Purchased?

WEN, is a cat-themed memecoin on the Solana network. How can you get WEN, which recently participated in airdrop activities? Here are the details!

First Community Token Based on Fractional NFT’s (WEN)

The poem “A Love Letter To Wen Bros” on the project’s website has been divided into many parts, similar to Solana tokens. Each WEN token is equal to a divided fragment of this poem.

Pushing the Boundaries of Solana:

The first community token based on fractional NFTs

The first official launch on Jupiter’s LFG Launchpad platform

The first NFT minted according to the WNS NFT standard

Equal distribution to over 1 million active Solana wallets

WEN Foundation

The WEN Foundation is a group dedicated to contributing to the Solana community by supporting the development of public goods and further strengthening the message that is only possible on Solana.

The WEN Foundation’s first contribution is the “Wen New Standard” (WNS), an open-source NFT standard intended to be extended by all members of the community.

There is no team allocation or compensation for early contributors. With a simple distribution of 70 percent airdrop and 30 percent LP/strategic reserve, the primary focus is on giving back to Solana.

Tokenomics

The total supply of the WEN token, which is 1 trillion, was planned to be distributed to the community through airdrop events. Seventy percent of the total supply was equally distributed to users through the airdrop.

The demand period ended and 300 billion WEN, equivalent to 30% of the total supply allocated for the airdrop, was burned.

Of the remaining 30% segment excluding the airdrop, 20% are allotted for the liquidity pool and 10% are set aside for the treasury.

What is the Price?

As of March 5, 2024, the day this article was written, $WEN lost approximately 8% in value according to CoinMarketCap data and is trading at around $0.0002153. The market value is $136,067,815.

Somesing, a blockchain-based social karaoke platform in South Korea, was hacked on Saturday and lost 730 million of its native token SSX (US$11.58 million).

You might like: China Is Stopping the Lending of Stocks!

The announcement stated that the amount of stolen money included 504 million undistributed SSX tokens that were planned to be put into circulation by the end of 2025, and 226 million SSX held by the Somesing Foundation and already part of its current circulation.

Somesing said, “The hack incident has been confirmed to have no connection with any member of the SOMESING team, and is presumed to have been carried out by professional hackers specializing in hacking virtual assets, taking into account the methods.”

The platform reported the incident to the National Police Agency for investigation and said it would notify Interpol. The exchange is also tracking down the attacker with the help of local blockchain organization Klaytn Foundation and Interpol’s partner firm Uppsala Security. Somesing said it plans to seek the freezing of assets and legal action against the perpetrator once the perpetrator is identified.

Somesing Hacked! Therefore, crypto exchanges stopped their deposit and withdrawal

Many South Korean crypto exchanges, including Upbit, Bithumb, and Coinone, have suspended SSX deposit and withdrawal transactions at the request of Somesing, and warned users of rising price volatility due to the security breach, according to their announcements. The token is also listed on HTX and Gate.io, which did not issue such warnings.

Somesing, which operates on the Klaytn blockchain, encourages users to upload karaoke recordings by rewarding them with tokens.

These rewards are then funded by other users who donate tokens to their favorite karaoke singers. Singers receive 60% of the donated tokens, 20% goes to Somesing, and the remainder is allocated for copyright fees and maintenance of the community.

Cybersecurity remains a critical concern for the crypto industry, as evidenced by the $81.5 million hack that took place on the Klaytn-connected protocol Orbit Bridge earlier this month. Despite this incident, the total volume of crypto hacking in 2023 has fallen by more than 50% compared to 2022.
