LDO (Lido) started a significant upward movement in the past, but recently, the price has retraced to the 1.00$ – 0.91$ support zone. This area is critical for LDO, as it will determine whether the decline will end and whether the price can start recovering. If 0.91$ support is lost, the price could potentially pull back to the 0.87$ – 0.85$ range. These levels are key support zones that investors should keep an eye on.

On the other hand, if LDO begins to rise, the nearest resistance is located in the downward FVG (Fair Value Gap) area. This area includes the crucial 1.18$ resistance level, which plays an important role in the potential for further upward movement. If LDO can break above 1.18$ and maintain daily closings above this level, the next target could be 1.45$. This could mark the continuation of a strong bullish trend for LDO, so it’s important to monitor how the price behaves around this level.

You Might Be Interested In: Elon Musk Talks About the Name of a New Memecoin!

For an upward movement to continue, breaking and holding above 1.18$ will be essential. If this level is successfully surpassed, 1.45$ will become the next target. However, if LDO loses the 0.91$ support, the price could experience a deeper pullback, potentially testing the 0.87$ – 0.85$ support levels.

LDO/USDT daily chart.

Therefore, investors need to carefully track the price action around these key levels. Monitoring how LDO reacts to these critical support and resistance zones will play a crucial role in determining the next price movement.

In conclusion, the key levels for LDO are the 0.91$ support and the 1.18$ resistance. The price action at these levels will decide whether LDO will experience a continued rise or pull back further. Investors should pay close attention to how the price behaves in relation to these levels in the near future.

As market fluctuations continue, one of the two key levels I identified for LDO has been tested, and the other is holding up as a strong support. This is a crucial development for investors. Now, the big question everyone is asking: Can LDO gather strength from these levels and continue its upward momentum?

You Might Be Interested In: Elon Musk Talks About the Name of a New Memecoin!

First, we saw the price react at the 1.6472 level and initiate an upward move. However, it’s still unclear whether this rally will be sustainable. The real decisive level will be 1.83. If LDO can manage to close above 1.83 for 4-hour candles, it could signal a strong buying opportunity and may trigger a rapid upward movement.

On the other hand, if the price fails to surpass 1.83 and faces downward pressure, we might see a pullback toward the 1.6472 support. Further below, the 1.4703 level remains a critical support zone. A drop below this level could intensify the selling pressure and bring about a deeper correction.

Currently, LDO is approaching a critical breaking point. The price is continuing to get squeezed within a narrowing triangle structure, and it will soon be forced to break out in one direction. Investors should closely monitor the 1.83 and 1.6472 levels. A breakout to the upside could trigger a strong bullish wave, while a breakdown to the downside may lead to the search for new support.

Ethena Labs‘ statement comes right after World Liberty Financial‘s purchase of $500,000 worth of ENA tokens.

Decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol Ethena announced a strategic partnership with Donald Trump-backed World Liberty Financial on December 18.

This partnership aims to integrate Ethena’s sUSDe token, the staked version of its USDe “synthetic dollar,” with World Liberty Financial‘s Aave instance. This will allow users to deposit USDe and receive rewards in both sUSDe and World Liberty’s WLF token.

Related tweet:

“Should it pass, this proposal will enable World Liberty Financial users to benefit from sUSDe rewards and also WLF token rewards. This integration will increase stablecoin liquidity and utilization rates on the protocol, as sUSDe’s integration has on Aave’s Core instance.”

Ethena Labs, Proposal to Integrate sUSDe

On December 18, the Ethena Labs Research account submitted an official proposal to the World Liberty Financial community, requesting approval to integrate sUSDe as “the first new collateral asset to the World Liberty Financial market.”

According to a post on the community forum, sUSDe has already passed risk analysis on the Aave Core and Lido instances.

If the proposal is approved, the Ethena Foundation plans to “co-incentivize the supply of sUSDe to come to the instance through its points program,” thereby supporting the dual rewards stream for users.

The Trump Effect

The partnership comes at a challenging time for World Liberty Financial, which has yet to establish itself among more established industry players. The president-elect’s crypto business venture was a major disappointment at its launch.

In the first 24 hours after its launch on October 16, only 848.63 million WLFI (worth $12.7 million based on the presale price) was sold, leaving about 19.1 billion coins (valued at approximately $287 million) unsold.

On November 26, the company saw a cash influx when cryptocurrency entrepreneur and somewhat controversial figure Justin Sun became World Liberty’s largest single token holder after purchasing $30 million worth of WLF.

Ethereum liquid staking protocol Lido, rose to as much as $30.56 billion in terms of locked total value on February 26th.

In Lido, adoption has increased since July 2022 and sustained a steady rise in TVL. The last major peak of Lido’s TVL was $20.83 billion on April 5, 2022, a month before the collapse of the Terra USD stablecoin ecosystem.

TVL defines the amount of capital invested or “locked” into a decentralized finance protocol, which is a significant indicator of this protocol’s popularity. Lido has a significant lead in the total locked value of liquid staking protocols, with Rocket Pool also following it with $3.8 billion in TVL.

The Project Launches wstETH on the Cosmos Network

The cross-chain smart contract platforms Neutron and Axelar stake protocol by Lido Finance has been selected to launch the staked ether token (wstETH) into the Cosmos ecosystem.

An announcement made that more than 30 people from the Cosmos team have expressed interest in integrating wstETH. Additionally, Neutron and Axelar have set aside 1% of their own network formation supplies for token incentives to create wsEth liquidity through DeFi applications in the Cosmos ecosystem.

Core participant of Neutron, Avril Dutheil,

“We are excited to be part of the effort to bring Lido’s staked ether, one of the largest liquid staking tokens, to the Cosmos ecosystem,” he said. “The collaboration between Neutron, Axelar, and the project is a great example of how blockchain projects can come together to encourage innovation and seamless interoperability.” He stated.

Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin shared a blog post the other day expressing his views on adding certain protocols to Ethereum’s code and maintaining them at the top of the blockchain.

Buterin’s specified protocols include the account abstraction protocol ERC-4337 , ZK-EVM’s , private memory pools, pre-compilation of code, and liquid staking.

The founder of Ethereum supported the sanctification of many protocols such as ERC-4337 to Ethereum’s code similar to private memory pools. However, he said it offers a complex trade-off as each will continue to evolve over time.

Along with this, Buterin expressed his concern about the increasing number of liquid staking providers in Ethereum. The Lido staking pool currently controls more than 32% of the staked Ether, which is spread among different validators.

Buterin states that currently the best providers, Lido and Rocket Pool, each have different risks and security mechanisms exist, but these are insufficient.

The founder, rather than relying on moral pressure to encourage the use of various staking providers, is thinking about making changes to make liquid staking in the Ethereum protocol decentralized.

This could mean fine-tuning for RocketPool or granting additional governance powers to a randomly sampled committee of small stakers.

What is Ethereum?

Ethereum is the second largest cryptocurrency in terms of market value after Bitcoin, launched in 2013 and launched in 2015. But Ethereum is not just a digital currency like bitcoin. Ethereum was proposed by Vitalik Buterin as a next-generation blockchain.

Vitalik Buterin chose the name Ethereum inspired by science fiction novels. He explains this situation as follows: “When I saw this name, I realized that it sounded much more beautiful to me compared to other alternative names. I think this is because the Ethereum word is pleasing to the ear and contains the word ‘ether’. Ether is a theoretical phenomenon that permeates the universe and allows the movement of light.”
