Binance has announced a new margin market adjustment that will directly impact FDUSD-based trading pairs. According to the exchange, 18 FDUSD margin pairs will be removed at 06:00 UTC on December 30, 2025, affecting both Cross Margin and Isolated Margin markets.

The move signals a broader shift in margin liquidity management and comes as Binance continues to refine its stablecoin-based trading structure.

FDUSD Pairs to Be Removed from Cross Margin

EIGEN/FDUSD, ARB/FDUSD, TRUMP/FDUSD, POL/FDUSD, ATOM/FDUSD, LDO/FDUSD, SHIB/FDUSD, RAY/FDUSD, GALA/FDUSD, PEPE/FDUSD

FDUSD Pairs to Be Removed from Isolated Margin

EIGEN/FDUSD, ARB/FDUSD, POL/FDUSD, ATOM/FDUSD, LDO/FDUSD, SHIB/FDUSD, GALA/FDUSD, PEPE/FDUSD

Once the delisting takes effect, users will no longer be able to open new margin positions for these pairs. Existing positions must be closed in advance to avoid automatic settlement or forced liquidation once trading support ends.

Why it matters?

FDUSD has been positioned as an alternative USD-pegged stablecoin within major exchange ecosystems. Removing multiple FDUSD margin pairs suggests that margin liquidity is being reconcentrated toward higher-volume stablecoins, while exposure to lower-demand margin pairs is being reduced.

Such margin adjustments are typically associated with risk optimization, especially during periods of changing volatility dynamics or stablecoin allocation strategies. While spot trading remains unaffected, margin-driven volume contractions can still lead to short-term price inefficiencies in the affected assets.

Market participants are expected to closely monitor whether further FDUSD-related margin updates follow in the coming days.

This process allows users to swap their OMNI tokens for NOM. Binance has prepared all necessary technical steps to ensure a smooth transition.
NOM Token Swap Process and Dates

OMNI tokens will be swapped at a ratio of 1 OMNI = 75 NOM. This will result in a total NOM supply of 7.5 billion, with a circulating supply of 2.9 billion NOM. Deposits and withdrawals of OMNI tokens will be suspended on 29 September 2025 at 03:00 UTC. Simultaneously, all OMNI spot trading pairs will be removed, and all open orders will be canceled.

Deposits of Nomina (NOM) tokens will open on 1 October 2025 at 07:00 UTC, and NOM/TRY, NOM/USDT, and NOM/USDC trading pairs will be available on the same day.

In the ever-evolving world of crypto, not all projects can keep up with industry standards. Investors woke up to a significant announcement this week as Binance, the world’s largest crypto exchange, revealed it will delist five tokens from its platform.

Such decisions don’t just impact the listed projects — they also send ripples through the portfolios of thousands of investors worldwide.

Which Tokens Are Affected and Why?

According to Binance’s official statement, the following tokens will be delisted from all spot trading pairs on July 4, 2025, at 03:00 UTC:

ALPHA (Stella)

BSW (Biswap)

KMD (Komodo)

LTO (LTO Network)

The delisting decision was based on several criteria, including development activity, community engagement, regulatory alignment, and liquidity. Binance emphasized that maintaining high-quality listings is essential to protecting users and ensuring platform integrity.

What Investors Need To Know and Do

The impact extends beyond spot trading. Margin trading, loans, staking (Simple Earn), gift cards, convert features, and buy/sell crypto services related to these tokens will also be phased out on different dates leading up to July 4.

Important timelines include:

July 2, 2025 – Suspension of margin and loan services

July 4, 2025 – Complete spot trading delisting

September 3, 2025 – Last day to withdraw affected tokens

After September 4, Binance may convert remaining balances into stablecoins, though this is not guaranteed.

Users are strongly advised to:

Cancel all active orders

Repay any outstanding margin loans

Hyperliquid, one of the most prominent Web3 trading platforms specializing in leveraged trading, has announced an increase in margin requirements after suffering a significant liquidation loss. In an official statement released on March 13, the platform confirmed that on March 12, a trader intentionally liquidated a $200 million Ethereum (ETH) long position, resulting in a $4 million loss for Hyperliquid’s liquidity pool, HLP.

In response to the incident, Hyperliquid will implement new measures starting March 15, requiring traders to maintain a minimum collateral margin of 20% on certain open positions. This new regulation aims to reduce the systemic risks posed by large positions and their potential market impact during closure events.

Measures to Prevent Systemic Risk

Hyperliquid clarified that the loss was not due to an exploit or security breach but was instead a predictable outcome under extreme market conditions. The platform stated, “Yesterday’s event highlighted the need to strengthen the margining framework to more robustly address extreme conditions.”

You Might Be Interested In: Elon Musk Talks About the Name of a New Memecoin!

The newly adjusted margin requirements will apply only under specific circumstances, such as when traders withdraw collateral from open positions. Hyperliquid also confirmed that users can still open new positions with up to 40x leverage.

Liquidity Pool and Platform Statistics

According to DeFiLlama, Hyperliquid’s HLP liquidity pool currently holds approximately $340 million in total value locked (TVL). Launched in 2024, Hyperliquid’s flagship perpetual futures (perps) exchange has rapidly captured 70% of the market share, surpassing competitors like GMX and dYdX, as noted in a VanEck report from January.

While Hyperliquid promotes a trading experience similar to centralized exchanges, offering fast settlement times and low transaction fees, it is considered less decentralized compared to other platforms.

As of March 12, Hyperliquid recorded an estimated $180 million in daily transaction volume. The platform’s HLP liquidity pool has surpassed $350 million in total value locked, making it a key player in the leveraged trading space.

Industry analysts suggest that the recent liquidation event highlights the importance of carefully managing systemic risks and maintaining robust margin strategies for traders engaging in highly leveraged positions.

Binance Futures has announced the launch of the HIVEUSDT Perpetual Contract on December 23, 2024, at 11:30 UTC, with up to 75x leverage. This initiative aims to provide users with a broader range of trading options and enhance their trading experience.

The HIVEUSDT perpetual contract will have Hive (HIVE) as its underlying asset and USDT as the settlement asset. The tick size for the contract is set at 0.00001, and the maximum funding rate will be +2.00% / -2.00%. Funding fees will be settled every four hours. Trading will be available 24/7, and users can utilize the Multi-Assets Mode to trade this contract with different margin assets.

The funding rates are scheduled for December 23, 2024, at 12:00 UTC, 16:00 UTC, and 20:00 UTC, as well as December 24, 2024, at 00:00 UTC, at +2.00% / -2.00%. Binance reserves the right to adjust the funding rates, leverage levels, tick sizes, and margin requirements based on market conditions.

The Multi-Assets Mode allows users to use different assets, such as BTC, as margin when trading the HIVEUSDT Perpetual Contract. This feature provides greater flexibility in managing trades.

The HIVEUSDT Perpetual Contract is subject to Binance’s Terms of Use and the Binance Futures Service Agreement. Additionally, the listing of a token on Binance Futures does not guarantee its listing on Binance Spot.

This new perpetual contract offers users a significant opportunity to optimize their trading strategies and manage risks effectively.

After Binance announced its new BFUSD token, promising an annual yield of 19.55%, the news quickly spread on social media. This sparked comparisons to Terra‘s collapse, with its algorithmic stablecoin USTC facing a similar fate. In response, Binance clarified that BFUSD is not a stablecoin and has not yet been launched.

How Will BFUSD Work?

BFUSD will be held in UM wallets, with users receiving daily airdrops without needing to lock up their funds. The amount of BFUSD users can earn will depend on their VIP level on Binance. According to the official launch page, BFUSD will be used as collateral for futures trading.

The promise of high yields led some users to express doubts, drawing parallels with the failed Anchor protocol from Terra, which also promised high returns. In May 2022, UST lost its dollar peg, causing the entire Terra ecosystem to collapse, resulting in billions in losses.

One user asked, “Are we repeating the same mistakes?” while another questioned the sustainability of the yields: “Are we the ones providing the yield?”

Why Binance is Confident in BFUSD

Binance defends BFUSD, stating that it complies with existing regulations and allows users to earn rewards without locking their assets. However, given past failures in the crypto world, promises of high returns are often met with skepticism.

OKX, a leading cryptocurrency exchange, has announced the listing of the new altcoin, DOGS, on its platform ahead of its official launch. This move allows users to engage in USDT-margined futures trading for DOGS starting from August 5, 2024, at 06:00 AM (TSI).

The DOGS altcoin draws its inspiration from Spotty, a beloved mascot created by Pavel Durov, the founder of The Open Network (TON), for the Telegram community. This connection to a popular messaging app and its charismatic mascot is expected to generate significant interest within the crypto community.

OKX’s pre-launch futures trading feature empowers users to trade on derivatives of cryptocurrencies before their official listing on spot markets. This innovative approach allows traders to capitalize on potential price movements even before the asset becomes widely available.

While the pre-launch listing of DOGS offers exciting trading opportunities, it’s important to note that the total supply of DOGS tokens has not yet been finalized. Any changes in the token issuance plan could lead to significant price fluctuations. OKX strongly advises users to conduct thorough research, implement risk management strategies, and exercise caution when trading in this market.
