CZ to Personally Contribute to BNB Chain Memecoin Program

Changpeng Zhao (CZ), the founder of Binance, recently shared new details about the memecoin liquidity support program on BNB Chain. After the launch of the $4.4 million liquidity support initiative aimed at enhancing the meme coin ecosystem, CZ announced that he would personally contribute hundreds of BNB to the projects involved in the program.

This announcement came alongside CZ’s remarks that the program could potentially be updated to include larger volume tokens, and that the support may extend beyond just memecoins to other projects as well.

Zhao: Clarifies Misunderstandings About His Wallet: “I Won’t Refund”

To address misunderstandings regarding his wallet, CZ clarified in a post that he would not be refunding any funds sent to a specific address. “If you send money and expect it back, that is nothing but greed. I will not do that,” he stated. Additionally, he confirmed that any tokens sent to him would either be burned or left untouched, emphasizing that he does not officially support any tokens.

Lastly, CZ rejected the idea of selling these tokens in exchange for BNB, explaining that such a move would have price implications and create extra workload. “I generally prefer to do less work,” he said.
