The network’s core team will provide technical support to Com2uS and its blockchain subsidiary XPLA to establish a new layer 2 network in compliance with local regulations in Japan.

Team Leader Paul Kim of XPLA, which plans to launch two Web3 games in Japan based on Com2uS’s “globally recognized” IPs, said: “In partnership with Oasys, XPLA will take a significant step towards Japan, the world’s third largest gaming market.”

With this collaboration, it is expected that the Seoul-based game developer will also include its core game series like ‘Summoners War: Chronicle’ and ‘The Walking Dead: All Stars’ in the Oasys network.
