Purpose of the Burn Mechanism

The program introduced by NEXPACE aims to align NXPC’s supply with the platform’s organic revenue, enhancing long-term price stability and investor confidence. The model is structured to ensure that as the ecosystem grows, token supply is managed proportionally. This helps reduce inflationary pressure and protects NXPC’s long-term economic value.

General Framework of the Mechanism

NXPC burns will take place every three months, with the burn amount calculated based on 20% of platform revenue generated within the MapleStory Universe. These revenues include:

• In-game upgrades
• Trading fees
• User interaction–driven platform activity

However, non-user revenue sources — such as grants, external investments, or treasury operations — are excluded from the calculation. Burns will occur in the month following each fiscal quarter: January, April, July, and October. Because the Henesys chain does not support direct mint or burn functions, the burn process is carried out by sending NXPC tokens to an irretrievable dead wallet address.

First Burn: 27 November 2025

The first implementation of the program covers accumulated revenue from the previous two quarters:

• Burn date: Thursday, 27 November 2025
• Amount to be burned: 3,840,417.39021874 NXPC
• Revenue source: 20% of total platform revenue from Q2 and Q3 of 2025
  • Total revenue: 19,202,087 NXPC
• Next scheduled burn: January 2026

This initial burn marks the official start of the mechanism, with subsequent burns continuing on the regular quarterly schedule.

What is Nexpace (NXPC)?  

Nexpace (NXPC) is the native token of the MapleStory Universe ecosystem, developed by the blockchain arm of South Korean gaming giant Nexon. Starting trading on Binance Alpha at 07:30(UTC) today, NXPC has created significant buzz in the crypto market. According to Binance’s official announcement, the initial circulating supply is 169,040,000 tokens, representing 16.9% of the total supply. The token is available for trading with USDT, USDC, BNB, FDUSD pairs.  

Binance NXPC Price Surge  

NXPC surged to $3.39 upon listing on Binance Alpha, with a fully diluted market cap (FDV) reaching approximately $800 million. Additionally, Binance launched the NXPCUSDT perpetual contract today, offering up to 50x leverage. Other exchanges, including Bybit, KuCoin, Bitget, and Upbit, have also listed NXPC. Bitget highlights the token in its Innovation and GameFi Zone, while KuCoin is hosting a launch campaign with a 230,000 NXPC prize pool.

Binance Airdrop and BNB HODLer Rewards  

The exchange has launched a HODLer Airdrop program for NXPC. A total of 3% of the supply, or 30 million NXPC, will be distributed via airdrop. Users holding BNB in Simple Earn or On-Chain Yields products between May 5-9, 2025, will receive a share of the rewards. The airdrop will be credited to spot accounts one hour before spot trading begins. Users with Binance Alpha Points can claim tokens on May 15-16.
