March this year saw Singapore grant OKX its “in principle” MPI license. At the time, its president, Hong Fang, declared that the digital asset exchange treats Singapore as a “priority market.”

One of the biggest cryptocurrency exchanges in the world, OKX, handled almost $67 billion worth of coins in August; its main rival, Binance, experienced a monthly volume of $448.45 billion.
