World Liberty Financial WLFI announced that before the platform’s launch, a small number of user wallets were compromised due to phishing attacks or exposed seed phrases. The platform froze affected wallets and required users to complete identity verification. In addition, WLFI developed new smart contract logic to securely reallocate user funds.

Prioritizing User Fund Security

WLFI emphasized that the security breaches were not caused by the platform or its smart contracts. Attackers accessed wallets through third-party security failures. In September, impacted wallets were frozen and owners were asked to re-complete KYC verification to confirm their identity.

Throughout the process, protecting user funds remained the top priority. The team tested new smart contract logic to ensure safe reallocation of funds. While the procedure took time, security was prioritized over speed.

New Smart Contracts and Fund Reallocation

The new smart contract logic was specifically designed for bulk fund reallocation. Users who complete the required KYC verification will be able to securely access their funds. Wallets of users who have not yet completed the verification process remain frozen, but they can initiate verification through WLFI’s help center.

By implementing these measures, WLFI ensures both regulatory compliance and maximum protection for user funds. The platform reiterated that the attacks stemmed from external vulnerabilities, not the WLFI network itself.

Important Information for Users

Affected users will have funds reallocated to new wallets after completing KYC verification.

Users who have not verified their identity can start the process via the support center.

The new smart contracts ensure secure bulk fund transfers for all verified users.

WLFI continues to update users and prioritize platform security while maintaining trust and regulatory standards.

Binance has announced another standout project in its HODLer Airdrops program. This time, the spotlight is on Enso (ENSO), known for its multi-chain smart contract infrastructure.

Binance Lists Enso!

Binance will list ENSO starting 2025-10-14 09:00 UTC, enabling trading against USDT, USDC, BNB, FDUSD, and TRY pairs. ENSO will also be tagged with a Seed Tag.

What is Enso (ENSO)?

Enso is a decentralized shared network that allows developers to generate executable bytecode for smart contracts across different blockchains, rollups, and application chains (appchains).

Designed as a Tendermint-based Layer-1 blockchain, Enso maps all smart contract interactions, enabling developers to interact with smart contracts on any chain from a single source.

This approach eliminates fragmentation and usability issues within the blockchain ecosystem. Developers can build composable, frictionless, and unstoppable applications.

Enso’s Purpose and How It Works

The blockchain world has grown complex, ranging from Bitcoin’s simple structure to Ethereum, Solana, Avalanche, Near, and Layer-2 solutions. Each network presents different smart contract standards and integration requirements. Enso aims to simplify these interactions by providing a unified environment for developers to execute smart contracts across chains seamlessly.

The 2025 Ethereum rich list has been updated. Leading ETH holders include whales, institutions, and smart contracts. The data shows Ethereum has shifted from individual investors to corporate players.

As of August 2025, the top 10 ETH addresses hold roughly 70% of the 120.7 million circulating ETH. However, most belong to staking contracts, exchanges, or institutional funds rather than individual whales.

The Beacon Deposit Contract alone holds 65.88 million ETH, representing 54.5% of the total supply. Validators must wait a set period to withdraw ETH, making this contract a protocol-controlled treasury rather than a personal wallet.

The Wrapped Ether (WETH) contract also ranks high, holding 2.26 million ETH. These figures highlight the importance of staking and DeFi usage in the Ethereum ecosystem.

Institutional and Individual ETH Holders

Exchanges like Coinbase hold 4.93 million ETH, Binance 4.23 million, Bitfinex 3.28 million, Robinhood 1.66 million, and Upbit 1.36 million. These addresses actively support exchange liquidity and staking derivatives.

Institutional investors are also treating ETH as a treasury asset. BlackRock’s iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA) controls 3 million ETH, Grayscale ETHE manages 1.13 million, and Fidelity’s FETH oversees $1.4 billion in ETH. Together, these institutions control over 5 million ETH, reshaping the Ethereum ownership landscape.

Individual holders include Vitalik Buterin with 250–280k ETH, Joseph Lubin around 500k ETH, and the Winklevoss twins 150–200k ETH. These numbers emphasize the contrast between corporate and personal ETH ownership.

Over 130 million addresses exist on Ethereum, but fewer than 1.3 million hold at least one ETH. Ownership is concentrated, with most assets in staking, exchanges, and institutional funds.

On-chain data confirms Ethereum has moved from individual whales to institutional and protocol-based players. This trend highlights the ecosystem’s corporate depth and the strength of staking infrastructure.

The view that institutional interest in Ethereum (ETH) is still in its very early stages is becoming increasingly accepted. Most recently, the globally operating Standard Chartered Bank shared a rather bold assessment regarding Ethereum’s future.

According to the bank’s analysis, as corporate treasuries continue to purchase ETH in the coming period, this interest will become much more visible. In fact, Standard Chartered predicts that these institutional purchases could reach up to 10% of Ethereum’s total circulating supply.

Standard Chartered: A 10x Increase Could Occur

Another key point highlighted by the bank is that current institutional Ethereum investments only reflect a small portion of the full potential. According to Standard Chartered, the amount of ETH held in corporate treasuries could increase 10-fold in the coming period. This situation could completely shift the market’s supply-demand balance.

Such strong accumulation of Ethereum by institutional companies could have long-term effects not only on the price but also on the overall network usage and security. After all, the Ethereum network is positioned as the backbone of smart contracts and decentralized finance (DeFi) applications.

ETH’s Strategic Role is Expanding

This prediction by Standard Chartered suggests that Ethereum could further solidify its leadership role in the altcoin markets. As the second-largest cryptocurrency after Bitcoin, ETH is no longer just an investment tool; it is also becoming a strategic asset for technology companies.

The growing institutional interest could also reduce Ethereum’s volatility over time and help it become a more stable store of value.

While important developments are happening every day in the world of cryptocurrency, Coinbase has added a new feature to its listing roadmap. Coinbase, one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges in the world, recently announced that it has included the “RSC” (a token type of Ethereum) token in its listing roadmap. This move has created a lot of excitement among investors and crypto enthusiasts.

Coinbase, especially in the listing process, conducts a meticulous review, accepting only safe and sustainable projects to be traded on its platform. The inclusion of RSC in this listing is seen as a significant part of both the token’s potential and Coinbase’s growth strategy.

Coinbase’s Listing Process

Coinbase’s cryptocurrency listing process is based not only on market value but also on many factors such as the security of the project, compliance with regulations, and the robustness of its technological infrastructure. This detailed evaluation process aims to provide investors with a safer trading environment.

The methodology Coinbase follows when deciding to add new tokens takes into account not only the interests of investors but also the long-term success of the projects. Coinbase’s careful approach makes it a reliable cryptocurrency exchange and has a significant impact on user preferences.

You might also be interested in: The Role of Dragonfly Personnel in the Tornado Cash Case!

$RSC What is it?

The RSC token is an ERC-20 token built on the Ethereum network. Users can trade this token on various platforms and use it for investment purposes. However, one of the biggest features that sets RSC apart from other ERC-20 tokens is its broader use case and the increased compatibility across platforms. For this reason, the RSC token stands out as an attractive option for investors.

Coinbase adding the RSC token to its listing roadmap is an exciting development for both RSC and the Ethereum ecosystem. The cryptocurrency exchange is offering a wider range of tokens to its users, thereby increasing opportunities for investors to diversify their investments. It is always difficult to predict what will happen in the cryptocurrency market, but the opportunities provided by Coinbase ensure that investors carefully follow these developments.

If you are also interested in researching RSC and diversifying your investments, you can consider these new options provided by Coinbase. However, as always, don’t forget to conduct thorough research before making any investment decisions.

This development isn’t just about money—it’s about enabling the next generation of smart and scalable blockchain apps, even for traditional Web2 developers.

Game-Changing Investment in EigenLayer

Venture capital giant a16z has invested $70 million in EigenLayer, currently the largest restaking protocol on Ethereum with over $12 billion in TVL. This follows their earlier $100 million commitment during EigenLayer’s Series B funding round. This latest investment focuses on acquiring EigenLayer tokens.

According to a16z, the funding aims to speed up the commercialization of EigenLayer’s services and to integrate their AVS ecosystem. The goal is to unblock barriers for developers working across smart contract platforms and even those from traditional Web2 environments.

Introducing EigenCloud: The Future Is Verifiable

Sreeram Kannan, CEO of Eigen Labs, envisions a future where EigenCloud powers a new wave of crypto apps aimed at mass markets. Recently released in its alpha stage, EigenCloud is designed to help developers build verifiable and trustless Web2 applications on top of any blockchain infrastructure.

This breakthrough enables:

Fully onchain games,

Onchain insurance services,

Decentralized marketplaces,

Verifiable AI integrations,

Smart adjudication systems.

All of which rely on programmable cryptographic verification.

The New Era of Crypto Applications

The company believes this is only the beginning. In their official statement, Eigen Labs noted:

“Bitcoin disrupted money, and Ethereum made it programmable. But we believe the next era of innovation starts when any application in any industry can be made verifiable by any developer.”

Currently, access to EigenCloud is limited to select developers, with a broader rollout expected by the end of the year.

In the crypto world, speed, security, and interoperability are no longer optional—they are essential. Emerging from this need, Sonic—formerly known as Fantom—has completely overhauled its infrastructure to establish itself as a major force in the Web3 era. As a high-performance Layer-1 blockchain network, Sonic is built to deliver scalability, efficiency, and lightning-fast transactions.

The rebranding on August 1, 2024, wasn’t just a name change; it represented a strategic shift in vision. With this new identity, Sonic aims to offer greater scalability, faster transaction finality, lower fees, and a more developer-friendly Web3 environment. The network’s native token FTM became convertible 1:1 into the new S token, with the migration window remaining open for six months.

Core Pillars of Sonic: Speed, Security, and Interoperability

With its upgraded infrastructure, Sonic can theoretically process up to 10,000 transactions per second (TPS), with sub-second finality. This places Sonic among the fastest blockchains in the market.

At the heart of the network lies the Lachesis consensus protocol, built on asynchronous Byzantine Fault Tolerance (aBFT). Unlike traditional blockchains, Lachesis processes transactions by linking events rather than fixed blocks, allowing faster confirmation, reduced data usage, and ultra-low fees—typically as low as $0.001 per transaction.

Sonic is also fully compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), allowing developers to migrate Ethereum-based smart contracts without modifications. The Sonic Gateway bridge facilitates secure and low-latency cross-chain transactions between Sonic and Ethereum.

A Powerful Developer Incentive Model

Sonic Labs introduces an innovative revenue-sharing model to support on-chain developers. Through the Fee Monetisation (FeeM) program, developers can earn up to 90% of transaction fees generated by their decentralized applications (dApps).

This model resembles how content creators earn income through platforms like YouTube or TikTok, making Sonic not only technically compelling but also financially rewarding for builders.

S Tokenomics and Network Design

The S token is the native utility token of the Sonic network. It powers the ecosystem by enabling fee payments, staking, governance participation, and validator rewards. It also replaces the former Fantom (FTM) token, with a seamless 1:1 conversion process designed to onboard the existing community.
