As institutional interest in digital assets continues to expand, asset management firm Bitwise has taken a notable step that could reshape the altcoin investment landscape. The company has officially submitted spot ETFs applications for 11 different altcoins, signaling a broader institutional focus beyond Bitcoin and Ethereum. This move is widely seen as another milestone in the ongoing convergence of crypto markets and traditional finance.

Which Altcoins Are Included?

The list of assets covered in Bitwise’s ETF filings reflects a diverse cross-section of the crypto ecosystem. Rather than concentrating on a single narrative, the selection spans decentralized finance, Layer-1 infrastructure, privacy-focused networks, and emerging blockchain technologies.

The altcoins included in the applications are:

Aave (AAVE)

Uniswap (UNI)

Zcash (ZEC)

Canton (CC)

Ethena (ENA)

Hyperliquid (HYPE)

Near (NEAR)

Starknet (STRK)

Sui (SUI)

Bittensor (TAO)

Tron (TRX)

This broad asset mix highlights Bitwise’s intention to capture multiple growth segments within the digital asset market rather than betting on a single category.

Why Spot Altcoin ETFs Matter

Spot ETFs allow investors to gain exposure to crypto assets through regulated financial products without the need to directly hold or custody tokens. For institutional investors, family offices, and traditional funds, this structure reduces operational complexity while aligning with existing compliance frameworks.

By extending ETF applications to altcoins, Bitwise is effectively acknowledging that institutional demand is evolving. The market is no longer limited to flagship assets, and alternative blockchain networks are increasingly viewed as investable instruments within a diversified portfolio.

Potential Market Impact

If approved, these ETFs could contribute to increased liquidity and broader market participation for the underlying assets. Easier access through traditional investment channels may also support more efficient price discovery over time.

In addition, Bitwise’s initiative could encourage other asset managers to pursue similar products, accelerating competition and innovation in crypto-based financial instruments.

A New Phase of Institutional Adoption

This development points to a new stage in institutional crypto adoption—one where altcoins are no longer peripheral but actively considered within structured investment products. As ETF offerings expand and diversify, digital assets may continue to solidify their position within global financial markets.

While regulatory outcomes remain uncertain, Bitwise’s move is a clear signal that the long-term potential of the altcoin market is gaining serious institutional recognition.

If a rejection occurs at $470, the bullish FVG left behind may act as a support level in case of a pullback.

Cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase has made a major announcement today, revealing that it will now list the Pyth Network (PYTH) and Bittensor (TAO) projects. This move has sparked significant excitement among crypto investors and market followers. What does this new development mean, and how will it impact the market?

Pyth Network and Bittensor Begin Trading on Coinbase

Coinbase continues to prioritize market security and user experience by listing new projects. According to the recent announcement, Pyth Network (PYTH) and Bittensor (TAO) will now be available for trading on both Coinbase and CoinbaseExch platforms. However, an important note to remember is that these tokens will only be available in supported regions. Investors must transfer these tokens exclusively via the correct networks; otherwise, funds may be at risk of being lost.

You Might Be Interested In: Elon Musk Talks About the Name of a New Memecoin!

Pyth Network (PYTH) is a rapidly growing SPL token operating on the Solana network, known for faster transaction confirmation times and decentralized finance (DeFi) solutions. On the other hand, Bittensor (TAO) stands out with its decentralized structure based on deep learning networks, catching the attention of investors looking for innovative projects.

Tokenbot (CLANKER) Added to Coinbase Roadmap

In addition to listing Pyth Network and Bittensor, Coinbase has also added the Tokenbot (CLANKER) project to its roadmap. This demonstrates the platform’s ongoing commitment to contributing to the crypto ecosystem and interest in cutting-edge projects. Users can now explore more opportunities and trade new options within the exchange.

As always, Coinbase prioritizes the security of its users and continues to provide new projects, ensuring greater transparency in the cryptocurrency space.

Grayscale has revealed its expectations for the fourth quarter and released its list of the top 20 altcoins, adding 6 new tokens.

In its report for Q4 2024, Grayscale highlighted 20 altcoins with growth potential, taking into account market trends and key factors specific to each token. The list now includes 6 new altcoins: SUI, TAO, OP, HNT, CELO, and UMA. However, RENDER, MNT, RUNE, PENDLE, ILV, and RAY have been removed from the previous list.

According to Grayscale, the altcoins with high potential for the fourth quarter are as follows:

Bitcoin (BTC)

Ethereum (ETH)

Solana (SOL)

Toncoin (TON)

Chainlink (LINK)

Near (NEAR)

Uniswap (UNI)

Sui (SUI)

Bittensor (TAO)

Stacks (STX)

Aave (AAVE)

Optimism (OP)

Arweave (AR)

Maker (SKY)

Helium (HNT)

Lido DAO (LDO)

Akash Network (AKT)

Aerodrome (AERO)

Celo (CELO)

UMA Protocol (UMA)

Additionally, it was stated, “This quarter, we have removed the following projects from the Top 20: Celo. Grayscale Research continues to value each of these projects, and they remain important elements of the crypto ecosystem. However, we believe the revised Top 20 list may offer more attractive risk-adjusted returns for the upcoming quarter.

Investing in the crypto asset class involves risks, including some unique to the crypto space, such as smart contract vulnerabilities and regulatory uncertainty. Furthermore, all assets in the Top 20 have high volatility and carry high risks, making them unsuitable for all investors. In light of the risks associated with the asset class, any investment in digital assets should be considered within the context of a portfolio and with the investor’s financial goals in mind.”

The cryptographic investment company Grayscale has recently released its report on the outlook for the fourth quarter of 2024. It reveals the cryptocurrencies with the greatest potential in October, November and December, In addition to this, it provides insight on perspective shift and advancements in this industry. Grayscale has revised the list that was provided in the previous quarter: some coins were added while some were excluded; 6 are new now.

Among the lately added cryptocurrencies are SUI, TAO, OP, HNT, CELO, and UMA. Dropped off the list instead were RENDER, MNT, Rune, PENDLE, ILV, and RAY. These projects mirror Grayscale’s changing view on bitcoin projects and present market dynamics.

The research offers some innovative project concepts. Designed for instance by former Meta engineers, Sui is a third-generation blockchain. Following a recent upgrade enhancing Solana’s transaction speed by 80%, Sui’s network consumption has skyrocketed, exceeding Solana in this respect and ensuring a good list ranking.

Another effort bringing about transformation is optimism since it provides a solution for Ethereum’s scalability issues. Its execution in well-known initiatives including Sam Altman’s Worldcoins project and Coinbase’s Layer 2 network Base has inspired future hope.

The book also notes UMA and Celo. While UMA offers a distributed oracle network for prediction markets like as Polymarket, Celo specializes on stablecoins and payment systems in emerging nations. Particularly thankful of Opera’s MiniPay function; Celo has lately been rather popular in Africa and consumes more stablecoins than Tron.

Helium made the list under its direction in the DePIN area and with high reputation for sustainable income source. Helium’s over a million access points and 100,000 mobile customers reinforce its position in the market given more than $2 million in network fees.

Among efforts at the junction of artificial intelligence and cryptocurrencies, Bittensor stands out in trying to provide a distributed platform for artificial intelligence innovation. Its listing shows Grayscale’s awareness of evolving market structure as well as the expanding influence of artificial intelligence on the crypto scene.

Extensive research by Grayscale provides investors with a road map and perceptive analysis of which projects might take front stage in the future months.

Bittensor blockchain has made headlines today after multiple user wallets were compromised in a hack attack.

According to a Tao Community Discord admin, the TAO Foundation has been investigating attacks on multiple Bittensor wallets over the past few hours.

On-chain transactions have been halted until more information is available about the attack, and it is reported that at least $8 million worth of TAO tokens were stolen from one wallet.

A member of the Bittensor core team said in a statement:

“We are investigating the attack and have taken the precautionary measure of halting all on-chain transactions until we have more information about the nature of this attack.”

TAO, which has fallen 11.3% in the past 24 hours, is currently trading at $239 at the time of writing.

OpenAI ‘s CEO Introduces SONA! Artificial Intelligence Coins Skyrocketed!! The cryptocurrency industry heats up with artificial intelligence. While the total market value approaches \$10 billion, some projects are experiencing tremendous growth.

Highest Market Value Artificial Intelligence Coins:

Bittensor (TAO): This Polkadot based project uses blockchain technology and artificial intelligence to create a decentralized machine learning network. The TAO token encourages developers and measures the collective intelligence of the network.

The Graph (GRT): The Graph is a critical layer for dapps requiring efficient blockchain data access, simplifying complex data queries. GRT tokens encourage data indexing and querying. Although Bittensor leads, The Graph continues to be a major player in the field.

Fetch.ai (FET): Fetch.ai, aiming to build a decentralized digital economy supported by autonomous AI agents, integrates AI to automate and optimize tasks in various sectors. FET tokens support transactions and services within the ecosystem.

SingularityNET (AGIX): This decentralized AI marketplace enables scalable creation, sharing, and monetization of AI services. AGIX tokens facilitate transactions, governance, and platform liquidity.

Ocean Protocol (OCEAN): Ocean Protocol democratizes data, enabling individuals and businesses to securely share and monetize data and data-based services. The OCEAN token incentivizes data sharing and sustains the platform’s data economy.

Global Artificial Intelligence Enthusiasm and Its Effects (OpenAI)

Leading AI player NVIDIA is preparing its activity report dated February 21, with investors having high expectations for continuously record returns. NVIDIA ‘s stock price experienced a 230% increase last year, backed by positive activity reports and forecasts.

Centralized AI giants like NVIDIA are making notable breakthroughs. Also, decentralized AI projects like Bittensor, The Graph, and others are rapidly developing.
