In its latest announcement, Coinbase revealed that it will be listing two new altcoins: Aerodrome Finance (AERO) and Velodrome Finance (VELO). However, it is worth noting that AERO will be listed under the experimental label with a high volatility warning.

According to Coinbase’s official statement:

“Aerodrome Finance will be supported on the Base network, while Velodrome Finance will be supported on the Optimism network. Trading for these newly listed altcoins will begin on February 6, 2024, at approximately 20:00 UTC, after liquidity conditions are met.”

Coinbase’s recent listing announcement has created excitement in the cryptocurrency market. The altcoins that are announced to be listed inevitably experience a surge in volume.

In another recent announcement, the exchange added Helium Mobile (MOBILE), an altcoin from the Helium (HNT) ecosystem, to its listing roadmap.

The addition of new altcoins, especially those from the Helium (HNT) ecosystem like Helium Mobile (MOBILE), demonstrates Coinbase’s expanding listing roadmap.

Coinbase, which has listed most of the coins added to its roadmap so far, constantly reiterates that this does not guarantee a listing.

After the news broke, Ronin (RONIN) experienced a sudden surge. However, it could not sustain this rise and fell back to its pre-news level of $2.84. RONIN is currently not listed on the Binance exchange either.

In its announcement yesterday, Coinbase listed ZETA with the experimental label.

Before Ronin (RONIN), it added the Render (RNDR), Velo (VELO), and Aero (AERO) altcoins to its roadmap.

In addition to Ronin, RENDER, VELO, and AERO are currently on the roadmap list.
