Moca Network seeks to create a “web3 identity” for users. Similar to logging in with email or social media on traditional internet platforms, Moca ID allows seamless access to web3 applications. Beyond serving as a login tool, it functions as a loyalty system tracking user activities and rewarding achievements, aiming to accelerate mainstream adoption of web3 technologies. 

Team and Founders

The project is backed by Animoca Brands, a key player in the web3 space. Yat Siu, founder and chairman of Animoca Brands, is one of the visionary leaders behind Moca Network. With investments in over 400 web3 projects, Animoca Brands provides valuable experience and knowledge to Moca Network.

How the Project Works

Moca Network operates around three core components: 

• Moca ID (Web3 Identity): A single login point for web3 apps. Tracks both on-chain and off-chain activities, creating a comprehensive user profile. 
• Moca Points: Earned by completing ecosystem tasks (gaming, app usage, NFT purchases) and used in the loyalty system to reward users. 
• MOCA Token: Main utility and governance token. Users can convert Moca Points to MOCA or use it for transactions within the ecosystem. 
• Moca Chain: Layer-1 Blockchain  Moca Chain is a modular, chain-agnostic, EVM-compatible Layer-1 blockchain focused on identity and data management.
