A Chinese programmer who sent 711.5 ETH to WikiLeaks included a strange on-chain message about his country’s military in the transfer.

Lezhi’s Allegations and Financial Transactions with ETH

A pseudonymous programmer, “Hu Lezhi,” donated $2 million worth of Ether to WikiLeaks along with an on-chain message claiming that the Chinese military is using nano computer chips to control citizens.

Lezhi alleged that brain-computer chips are being used on a large scale for military purposes, with all military powers using base stations, radios, and nano chips to control citizens. Identifying himself as a victim of these technologies, Lezhi stated that he had completely lost his dignity as a human being and wished to leave this world.

He also accused Feng Xin and Xu Yuzhi, executives at the Chinese-based hedge fund Kuande Investment (known as WizardQuant), of using similar brain-computer weapons to control their employees.

Between February 10-17, Lezhi sent a total of 711.5 Ether to WikiLeaks. The largest transaction, made on February 17, involved 591.6 ETH worth $1.6 million. Additionally, 603 Ether was sent to Ethereum’s burn address, 700 Ether to the “ndao.eth” wallet, and 33 Ether to an unknown address. In total, 2,047 Ether (approximately $5.6 million) was transferred.

WizardQuant, based in Shanghai and Beijing, is a hedge fund that employs quantitative investment strategies. Feng Xin, one of the co-founders, serves as the Chief Risk Officer, while Xu Yuzhi is the Chief Investment Officer.
