The account named “Satoshi Nakamoto” wrote the following on Monday: “Bitcoin is an identical machine.” “Over the course of the coming months, we will explore different aspects that were not clearly outlined in the whitepaper.”

Twitter users, adding community notes to the post, pointed out that the @satoshi account has been linked to “Craig Wright,” an individual who has claimed for years to be Satoshi Nakamoto.

Users warns not to click on links shared by the account, as scammers could potentially take over and misuse them. Many within the community express their skepticism, believing that the real Satoshi would not subscribe to a feature that could jeopardize his privacy or use an application that could create potential security threats. As a result, they are likely considering the account as probably fake and seeing it as a possible “LARPing” (Live Action Role Playing) attempt.

• Some people believe Satoshi might be European because he usually communicates during European business hours.

There are a few individuals who have been considered as possible Satoshis:

• Hal Finney is the most likely candidate. He was one of the first Bitcoin users and received the first Bitcoin transaction. He worked as a software developer and was part of the original cyberpunks in the 1990s.
• Dorian Nakamoto is a Japanese-American man whose real name is also Satoshi Nakamoto. He worked as a computer engineer and lived in California with Hal Finney for more than ten years.
• In 2015, an Australian computer scientist and businessman named Craig Wright claimed to be Satoshi Nakamoto. Some important people in the Bitcoin community, like members of the Bitcoin Foundation and some Bitcoin developers, supported his claim.

Many people have made claims about who Satoshi Nakamoto is. He could be one person or a group. We don’t know if he’s alive or dead. Until there is solid evidence, we can only guess and speculate about who Satoshi Nakamoto truly is.
