“Operating Without a TDPSE Registration”

In an official statement, the Ministry revealed that PT. Terang Bulan Abadi and PT. Sandina Abadi Nusantara are not legally registered as Electronic System Providers (PSE). In particular, PT. Terang Bulan Abadi is accused of operating without a valid Tanda Daftar Penyelenggara Sistem Elektronik (TDPSE) license. Meanwhile, the Worldcoin project is reportedly using the TDPSE registration under a different legal entity, PT. Sandina Abadi Nusantara.

Indonesian Citizens Filed Complaints Against Worldcoin

Alexander Sabar, Director General of Digital Space Supervision at Komdigi, emphasized that the suspension is a preventive measure. He stated that public complaints were taken seriously and the companies involved will soon be officially summoned for clarification.

Sabar also reminded that any digital service provider operating in Indonesia must comply with Government Regulation No. 71/2019 and Ministerial Regulation Kominfo No. 10/2021, which require legal registration. “Providing digital services under another legal entity’s name is a serious legal violation,” he stressed.

Public Alert and Call for Vigilance

Komdigi announced that it will intensify monitoring efforts to create a secure and transparent digital ecosystem. The Ministry urged citizens to play an active role in this process, stay cautious against unauthorized digital services, and report suspicious activities through official complaint channels.

This development not only highlights Indonesia’s firm stance on digital security, but also adds to the global pressure Worldcoin is facing over data privacy concerns.
