ZkBridge is a new generation bridge system that can perform transactions faster and cheaper than other bridge dApps. Transactions from Cosmos to Ethereum, for example, can be sent in 2 minutes and at a lower cost, according to tests.

Polyhedra zkBridge was founded to enable Layer 1 and Layer 2 to work together on top of the LayerZero protocol. It also developed the zkLightClient technology, which is a solution for cross-chain infrastructures.

The Polyhedra zkLightClient technology works seamlessly with LayerZero‘s messaging protocol. This allows developers to easily perform transactions without leaking information.

Supported Networks

Polyhedra Network plans to launch its token bridge systems along with the “Alpha Mainnet“. This will allow you to send your NFTs and tokens to the recipient chain at a lower cost via zkBridge.

Polyhedra zkBridge supports networks such as BSC, Ethereum, Matic, Avax, Optimism, and Arbitrum. You can see the detailed network list in the following image:

Polyhedra Network Investors?

Polyhedra Network has raised 2 rounds of investment funds so far. In the first round, it managed to raise a fund of $10 million under the name of “Strategic Partnership”. In this round, it received investment from major companies such as Binance Labs, PolyChain Capital, and Animoca Brands.

Polyhedra Network raised $15 million in funding under the name of “PRE-SERIES A”. In this round, it received investment from major companies led by KuCoin Ventures, Foresight Ventures, and Hashkey Capital.

Polyhedra‘s investment rounds are ongoing. They will likely be able to raise additional investment in the coming process.

Polyhedra Network Token Possibility?

Although there are certain clues about this in the medium articles, there is no detailed explanation about this topic yet.

Polyhedra Network Airdrop Possibility?

Since Polyhedra Network is a project that is invested in by major exchanges such as Binance Labs and Kucoin Ventures, it is a project with the potential to make an airdrop.

Although it is not known whether they will have their own tokens, there is a possibility that Tokenomics will be shared soon thanks to these two exchanges.

Here are some things you can do to increase your chances of winning an airdrop:

Join the project Discord channels and collect roles

Go to the project website and bridge with existing NFTs

Polygon and ApeCoin (APE) are rolling out a new venture for the DAO community. Sandeep Nailwal, co-founder of Polygon Labs, has put forward a proposition for a new layer.

This proposal includes the idea of implementing ApeChain, which is known as a private Layer-2 (L2) chain based on zero-knowledge (zk) technology, also aimed at supporting the collaboration between the ApeCoin community and Polygon Labs.

According to the proposal, the development and maintenance of this chain will become a joint effort with ApeCoin DAO and an application partner that creates Web3 infrastructure and tool products. Also, the proposal includes collaboration with Polygon Labs in the ecosystem.

According to the proposal shared by the founder, the ApeCoin cryptocurrency community has long considered the need to transition to its own chain to meet ApeCoin’s scalability needs. This idea was first proposed by Yuga Labs about 18 months ago, and ApeCoin DAO decided to keep ApeCoin within the Ethereum ecosystem.

The ApeChain development team plans to create ApeChain using the Polygon Chain Development Kit (CDK), also an open-source toolkit enabling developers to smoothly launch their zk-backed Layer 2 solutions on Ethereum, pending prior approval. Upon approval, the development team will proceed to enact the proposal.

Zero-Knowledge Proof (ZKP) algorithms are a special kind of math that helps keep information private while still proving it’s true. ZKP algorithms use math to prove that the receiving party is genuine. They were first proposed in the 1980s by MIT researchers.

There are two types of ZKP algorithms:

Interactive Zero-Knowledge Proof: These involve a back-and-forth interaction between the parties with mathematical challenges to be solved.

Non-Interactive Zero-Knowledge Proof: These don’t require direct interaction or happen later. They need more computing power.

Zero-knowledge proofs have three important conditions:

Completeness: If a statement is true, the verifying party can confirm the receiving party has the information.

Soundness: A statement can’t be faked or proven false. The verifying party can’t be tricked into believing the information if it’s not true.

Zero–knowledge: The verifying party only learns the truth or falsehood of the statement and doesn’t gain any other extra information.

By using ZKP algorithms, we can prove the information is true without revealing sensitive details, ensuring privacy and security in transactions.

ZK proofs are handy for many situations where we want to protect privacy and security. They provide a clever way to prove something is true without having to spill the beans on sensitive details.
