Com2uS, <\/strong>a South Korean game publisher, announced its cooperation with the Oasys<\/strong> blockchain project on Monday.<\/p>\n

The partnership is expected to develop the web3 gaming infrastructure for the gaming company’s expansion into the Japanese market.<\/p>\n

Oasys<\/strong> is a game-centric blockchain network that has previously worked with SoftBank<\/strong>, Sega<\/strong> and Ubisoft<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The network’s core team will provide technical support to Com2uS and its blockchain subsidiary XPLA<\/strong> to establish a new layer 2 network in compliance with local regulations in Japan.<\/p>\n

Team Leader Paul Kim of XPLA<\/strong>, which plans to launch two Web3 games in Japan based on Com2uS’s “globally recognized” IPs, said: “In partnership with Oasys, XPLA<\/strong> will take a significant step towards Japan, the world’s third largest gaming market.”<\/p>\n

With this collaboration, it is expected that the Seoul-based game developer will also include its core game series like ‘Summoners War: Chronicle’<\/strong> and ‘The Walking Dead: All Stars’<\/strong> in the Oasys network.<\/p>\n
