Based on CoinMarketCap statistics, <strong>BLAST<\/strong>&#8216;s price has subsequently climbed to $0.0281, a 40% gain. This performance stands in stark contrast to previous token introductions like <strong>Layer Zero (ZRO)<\/strong> cross-chain interoperability and Ethereum layer-2 network zkSync (ZK), which have dropped 46% and 43% respectively from their debut values.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Airdrop_Distribution_and_Evaluation\"><\/span>Airdrop Distribution and Evaluation<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Out of the whole quantity of the token, the <strong>BLAST<\/strong> airdrop delivered 17%. Of this, 7% was set out for customers bridging Ether or USD on Blast (USDB) onto the network beginning late last year. Some said the launch value fell short of projections. Co-founder of DeFiance Capital, a cryptocurrency investment company Arthur Cheong expressed astonishment at the $2 billion FDV, anticipating a value more in line with $5 billion.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Security_Problems_and_Concerns\"><\/span>Security Problems and Concerns<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Co-founded by Blur developer Tieshun Roquerre (known as PacMan), the <strong>Blast<\/strong> network drew criticism from its own seed investors in November for missing enough functionality to support a one-way bridging mechanism locking down users&#8217; ETH for many months.<\/p>\n<p>Like previous well-publicized airdrops this year, Blast&#8217;s airdrop event drew many of frauds on X. Targeting consumers who need to link their wallets and sign transactions to collect tokens, these fraudsters can present themselves as honest copycats during major airdrop events.
