Hayes is a prominent crypto entrepreneur and the former CEO of the BitMEX cryptocurrency exchange.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Grant_Application_and_Issuance\"><\/span>Grant Application and Issuance<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The grants will be issued for 12 months in Bitcoin, Circle&#8217;s USD Coin, and Tether USD.
