Using smart contracts, the distributed finance crypto platform Aave lets investors borrow and lend cryptocurrencies.<\/p>\n<p>Said <strong>Grayscale&#8217;s Head of Product &amp; Research<\/strong>, Rayhaneh Sharif-Askary, in a statement, <em>&#8220;<strong>Grayscale <\/strong><\/em><strong>Aave Trust<\/strong><em> exposes investors to a protocol with the potential to transform traditional finance.&#8221;<\/em> Aave&#8217;s distributed platform seeks to maximize lending and borrowing by using blockchain technology and smart contracts, therefore eliminating middlemen and lessening reliance on human judgment.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/cms.exex.com\/api\/images\/what-is-aave.webp\" alt=\"Grayscale Aave Trust\" width=\"1400\" height=\"500\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Over the past year, <strong>Grayscale<\/strong> has opened several crypto funds\u2014more especially, spot Bitcoin and Ether ETFs. In January, the SEC approved multiple spot Bitcoin ETFs from companies including BlackRock, <strong>Grayscale<\/strong>, and Fidelity.
