The regulation, which will come into effect on November 1, gives the government the authority to impose regional restrictions on cryptocurrency mining activities, while also providing tighter oversight over mining pools and infrastructure providers.<\/p>\n<p>The law expands access to digital wallet addresses, particularly for federal agencies such as the Federal Financial Monitoring Service (Rosfinmonitoring), so that they can monitor digital currency transactions. This increases measures against money laundering and terrorist financing.
