According to available data, this recent purchase has increased Metaplanet\u2019s total Bitcoin holdings to <strong>1,762 BTC<\/strong>, with a total valuation of <strong>$168 million<\/strong>. This initiative will involve the use of financial instruments such as loans, equities, and convertible bonds to acquire and manage Bitcoin.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Fluctuations_in_Stock_Price\"><\/span>Fluctuations in Stock Price<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>At the end of <strong><em>November<\/em><\/strong>, Metaplanet revealed plans to raise <strong>9.5 billion Japanese yen<\/strong> (<em>approximately $62 million<\/em>) through a stock acquisition program to support its Bitcoin-focused strategy.<\/p>\n<p>Following this announcement, the company\u2019s stock price on the Tokyo Stock Exchange rose by<strong> 5%<\/strong>. However, over the past week, the stock price has declined by approximately <strong>13%<\/strong>.
