This plan targets raising <strong>$42 billion<\/strong> in capital over the next three years, divided between equity and fixed-income securities, to purchase more Bitcoin.<\/p>\n<p>Strategy noted that it has already completed <strong>$20 billion<\/strong> of this capital plan and financed the Bitcoin purchases primarily through <strong>senior convertible notes and debt<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Strategy&#8217;s CEO and President <strong>Phong Le<\/strong> stated that the company is <strong>\u201csignificantly ahead\u201d<\/strong> of its initial timeline and is <strong>\u201cwell-positioned to enhance shareholder value\u201d<\/strong> by leveraging strong support from both institutional and retail investors.<\/p>\n<p>The company&#8217;s <strong>Bitcoin holdings<\/strong> now stand at <strong>471,107 Bitcoin<\/strong>, worth over <strong>$45 billion<\/strong>, making it the largest Bitcoin holder of any corporation globally.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Strategy_Lowers_2025_Target_for_%E2%80%9CBTC_Yield%E2%80%9D_to_15_After_743_in_2024\"><\/span>Strategy Lowers 2025 Target for &#8220;BTC Yield&#8221; to 15% After 74.3% in 2024<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Strategy&#8217;s <strong>&#8220;BTC Yield&#8221;<\/strong>, which tracks the percentage change between Bitcoin holdings and Assumed Diluted Shares Outstanding, reached <strong>74.3% in 2024<\/strong>. However, the company has revised its target for <strong>2025<\/strong> to <strong>15%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The company also introduced annual metrics, <strong>&#8220;BTC Gain&#8221;<\/strong> and <strong>&#8220;BTC $ Gain&#8221;<\/strong>, to better reflect the health of its balance sheet.<\/p>\n<p><strong>BTC Gain<\/strong> is calculated by multiplying the number of Bitcoin held at the beginning of a period by the <strong>BTC Yield<\/strong> for that period, while <strong>BTC $ Gain<\/strong> represents the dollar value of the <strong>BTC Gain<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>On February 5, the company, formerly known as <strong>MicroStrategy<\/strong>, rebranded to <strong>Strategy<\/strong>.
