BlackRock Ownership and STRK Shares Rise on Nasdaq<\/h2>\n

According to a recent Schedule 13G filing, BlackRock (BLK)<\/strong> disclosed that it now owns 5% of Strategy (MSTR)<\/strong>, which equals approximately 11.2 million shares. This marks a 0.91% increase from its previous 4.09% ownership as of September 30, 2024. According to Yahoo Finance, BlackRock’s<\/strong> filing regarding its ownership stake is a significant development.<\/p>\n

A Schedule 13G<\/strong> is filed when an investor acquires more than 5% of a publicly traded company\u2019s stock but does not intend to influence or control the company. Institutional investors are required to file within 45 days after year-end or within 10 days if ownership exceeds 10%.<\/p>\n

BlackRock<\/strong> was required to disclose its 5% ownership by December 31, 2024, and make the filing public by February 14.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Strategy\u2019s perpetual preferred stock (STRK)<\/strong> began trading on Nasdaq<\/strong> this past Thursday. According to TradingView, STRK closed the day up 2%, with over 650,000 shares traded. This marks another significant development for Strategy.<\/p>\n

Following the close of the trading day, STRK<\/strong> continued its upward momentum, gaining 5% in pre-market trading. This indicates that STRK<\/strong> is being positively received by investors, with strong growth potential moving forward.<\/p>\n
