Binance Futures<\/a><\/strong> has announced that it will launch the IPUSDT<\/strong> perpetual contract on February 13, 2025<\/strong>, at 17:00 (UTC)<\/strong> to provide users with more trading options and enhance their trading experience. This new contract will offer up to 25x leverage<\/strong> for traders.<\/p>\n

The IPUSDT<\/strong> perpetual contract is based on Story (IP)<\/strong>, a native Proof-of-Stake (PoS) Layer-1<\/strong> blockchain specifically designed for intellectual property (IP)<\/strong>. Traders will be able to open and close positions using USDT<\/strong> as collateral. The minimum tick size for this contract is set at 0.00001<\/strong>, while the maximum funding rate is +2.00% \/ -2.00%<\/strong>. Funding fees will be settled every four hours<\/strong>, and trading will be available 24\/7<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Additionally, Binance<\/strong>\u2019s Multi-Assets Mode<\/strong> will be applicable to this contract. This feature allows traders to use different assets, such as BTC<\/strong>, as collateral when trading the IPUSDT<\/strong> perpetual contract. However, Binance<\/strong> may adjust contract specifications, including funding fees, tick size, maximum leverage, initial margin, and maintenance margin<\/strong>, based on market risk conditions.<\/p>\n

Binance<\/strong> also emphasizes that a token listed on Binance Futures<\/strong> does not guarantee its listing on the spot market<\/strong>. Users must trade under Binance\u2019s Terms of Use<\/strong> and the Binance Futures Service Agreement<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
