These filings will trigger <strong data-end=\"591\" data-start=\"557\">a 240-day review period<\/strong> when they are registered in the SEC&#8217;s federal register. If this process begins immediately, the SEC will have <strong data-end=\"675\" data-start=\"654\">until October 2025<\/strong> to make a final decision.<\/p>\n<p data-end=\"1116\" data-start=\"698\">The fact that the SEC has accepted ETF applications for Litecoin and Solana in recent weeks <strong data-end=\"905\" data-start=\"779\">suggests that the new SEC policies under the Trump administration may take a more open approach to crypto assets.<\/strong> Previously, under former SEC Chairman Gary Gensler, several Solana ETF applications were rejected and Grayscale had to fight a long legal battle to convert its Bitcoin Trust into an ETF.<\/p>\n<h3 data-end=\"1170\" data-start=\"1118\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Could_XRP_and_Dogecoin_ETFs_Be_Approved\"><\/span><strong data-end=\"1168\" data-start=\"1122\">Could XRP and Dogecoin ETFs Be Approved?<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p data-end=\"1449\" data-start=\"1171\">Bloomberg ETF analysts <strong data-end=\"1234\" data-start=\"1197\">James Seyffart and Eric Balchunas<\/strong> predict that XRP and Dogecoin ETF applications have <strong data-end=\"1359\" data-start=\"1270\">a 65% and 75% chance of approval by the end of 2025, respectively<\/strong>. The Litecoin ETF has a <strong data-end=\"1421\" data-start=\"1414\"> 90%<\/strong> chance of approval.<\/p>\n<p data-end=\"1747\" data-start=\"1451\">However, the status of XRP is still unclear due to the SEC&#8217;s lawsuit against Ripple. In 2023, the court ruled <strong data-end=\"1628\" data-start=\"1568\">that XRP is not a security when sold on exchanges<\/strong>, but the SEC has appealed this decision.
