According to blockchain analyzer EmberCN, hackers have <strong>moved 343,000 ETH<\/strong> to date.<\/p>\n<p>Lazarus Group uses the following methods to hide the funds:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>converting Ethereum into Bitcoin and DAI and<\/strong> distributing it to different networks.<\/li>\n<li>Using<strong>decentralized exchanges and instant clearing services that do not require KYC (Verification of Identity)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Transfers to different chains through cross-chain bridges<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) <strong>confirmed that the hack attack belonged to the North Korea-linked \u201cTradeTraitor\u201d group<\/strong>. FBI urges crypto exchanges, bridges and node operators to block transactions linked to hackers.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Reactions_to_THORChain_Grow\"><\/span><strong>Reactions to THORChain Grow<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Some of the stolen funds were found <strong>to have been moved through THORChain<\/strong>. THORChain, a decentralized cross-chain exchange protocol, has been the target of criticism for allegedly enabling hackers.<\/p>\n<p>This has sparked serious debate within the community. <strong>Pluto<\/strong>, a developer on THORChain, announced that he was leaving the platform, claiming that hackers were being allowed to transfer funds.
