We believe other players will also be active in the Turkish market. Our young population, high financial literacy, and digitally compatible user demographic lay the foundation for this,\u201d the spokesperson said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h2 data-start=\"901\" data-end=\"960\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Temporary_Crypto_Approval_from_CMB\"><\/span>Temporary Crypto Approval from CMB<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"962\" data-end=\"1113\"><strong>BankPozitif&#8217;s Chairman Erkan Kork<\/strong> announced that the digital bank has received a crypto custody license from the <strong>Capital Markets Board of Turkey (CMB)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1115\" data-end=\"1528\">Kork mentioned that their local subsidiary, <strong>PozitifKripto<\/strong>, has also received the service provider license. According to public <strong>CMB<\/strong> data, BankPozitif is among the 88 firms that have declared their intention to operate in accordance with Temporary Article 11 of the Capital Markets Law No. 6362. The authority emphasized that being listed does not imply that the firms are authorized under the relevant legislation.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1530\" data-end=\"1578\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Taurus_Collaborates_with_Other_Turkish_Banks\"><\/span>Taurus Collaborates with Other Turkish Banks<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1580\" data-end=\"1775\">In addition to <strong>BankPozitif, Taurus<\/strong> is working with three other Turkish banks, including<strong> Misyon Bank<\/strong>, which announced its crypto debut in March 2024, according to Taurus co-founder Lamine Brahimi.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1777\" data-end=\"1999\">&#8220;As demand for secure and compliant digital asset solutions grows, we are committed to supporting Turkey\u2019s financial sector with institutional-grade infrastructure \u2014 backed by our local presence in Istanbul,&#8221; Brahimi said.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2001\" data-end=\"2071\">Other crypto-friendly banks in Turkey include <strong>Garanti BBVA and Akbank<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2073\" data-end=\"2250\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">As previously mentioned, Turkey introduced new crypto regulations in the last week of 2024, targeting stricter <strong>Anti-Money Laundering<\/strong> measures and client identification policies.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p data-start=\"2073\" data-end=\"2250\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\"><em>You can also freely share your thoughts and comments about the topic in the comment section.
