The submission is considered a declaration of compliance with regulations and will allow the contracts to be launched quickly, unless the CFTC raises objections.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"602\" data-end=\"839\">If approved, the ADA and NGS futures contracts are expected to go live by <strong data-start=\"676\" data-end=\"688\">March 31<\/strong>. This is part of Coinbase\u2019s strategy to provide investors with comprehensive trading options by combining both crypto and traditional futures markets.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"841\" data-end=\"1278\"><strong data-start=\"841\" data-end=\"852\">Cardano<\/strong>, known for its focus on scalability, sustainability, and security, is supported by the growing DeFi, NFT, and enterprise blockchain solutions. As a result, it holds significant potential as a new product on Coinbase&#8217;s futures platform. Natural gas, a critical energy resource for the global economy, makes this product a strategic move for Coinbase.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1701\" data-end=\"1975\">The <strong data-start=\"1705\" data-end=\"1712\">SEC<\/strong> has been cautious about approving crypto ETFs, but offering futures contracts provides a regulated framework for price discovery and risk management. This could potentially influence the SEC\u2019s future stance on crypto ETFs and increase the likelihood of approval.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1977\" data-end=\"2201\"><strong data-start=\"1977\" data-end=\"2002\">Grayscale Investments<\/strong> is currently the only company to have filed for a <strong data-start=\"2053\" data-end=\"2073\">spot Cardano ETF<\/strong>.
