Thanks to QR code technology, users can easily link their mobile wallets to desktop applications or other platforms.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"624\" data-end=\"742\">Especially beneficial for mobile crypto users, <strong>WalletConnect<\/strong> also enables smooth transitions across different devices.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"744\" data-end=\"915\">The protocol prioritizes user security by requiring wallet owner approval for every transaction, ensuring full control during interactions with decentralized applications.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"\" data-start=\"922\" data-end=\"947\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_Is_WCT_Used_For\"><\/span>What Is WCT Used For?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"949\" data-end=\"1110\">As of the time of writing, <strong>WCT <\/strong>does not yet have active use cases. However, in the future, it will serve four primary functions within the <strong>WalletConnect network:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1112\" data-end=\"1719\">\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"1112\" data-end=\"1327\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1114\" data-end=\"1327\"><strong data-start=\"1114\" data-end=\"1123\">Fees:<\/strong> Initially, the network will not charge any fees.
