This land will be open to global investors and can only be acquired using the CAR token, referred to as the \u201cnational meme coin\u201d of the country.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"759\" data-end=\"1053\">The land to be tokenized is reportedly located near the village of Bosongo, 45 kilometers west of the capital, Bangui. The decree refers to the nation\u2019s mining laws and the 2023 regulations on the tokenization of resources, indicating that the land might be allocated for <strong data-start=\"1031\" data-end=\"1052\">mining activities<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1055\" data-end=\"1367\">Following Touad\u00e9ra\u2019s post, the CAR token surged by more than 20% according to market data. Daily trading volume also rose by 31.9% compared to the previous day, reflecting a spike in investor interest. The token, which has made significant gains recently, rose 182% in the past week and 216% over the past month.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1369\" data-end=\"1595\">Currently, the token is up by approximately 10.7% and trading at $0.05, with a market cap hovering around $53 million. However, shortly after its launch in February, it had experienced a sharp drop from a peak of $884 million.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1597\" data-end=\"1799\">Last month, the top 100 holders of CAR token were invited to Dubai for a private meeting with President Touad\u00e9ra. This move echoed the exclusive dinner organized for TRUMP meme coin investors on May 22.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1801\" data-end=\"1852\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Ongoing_Doubts_About_the_State-Backed_Meme_Coin\"><\/span>Ongoing Doubts About the State-Backed Meme Coin<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1854\" data-end=\"2064\">Announced on February 10, the <strong>CAR meme coin<\/strong> was introduced by <strong>Touad\u00e9ra<\/strong> as an experiment to \u201cbring people together, contribute to national development, and place the country on the global stage in a unique way.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2066\" data-end=\"2400\">However, after surging to $0.775 on launch day, the token quickly plummeted. Its market cap dropped by more than 50%, falling from $884 million to $460 million. This crash was further fueled by accusations of the launch video being AI-generated, sudden suspensions of social media accounts, and suspicious domain registration details.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2402\" data-end=\"2679\">Several AI detection tools flagged the president\u2019s promotional video as AI-generated. The official X account of the project was suspended without explanation. The president later stated from his own account that his team was working to restore the accounts as soon as possible.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2681\" data-end=\"2951\">Yokai Ryujin, founder of UnrevealedXYZ, pointed out that the domain name used for the CAR token was registered through a low-cost provider just three days before the announcement. According to Ryujin, this raised red flags for a project claiming to be government-backed.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2953\" data-end=\"3058\">Shortly after, domain provider Namecheap suspended the website, stating it was flagged for \u201cabusive use.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3060\" data-end=\"3230\">As of press time, President Touad\u00e9ra\u2019s post remains active and includes a link to a website outlining the coin\u2019s purpose, token address, and the exchanges it\u2019s listed on.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3232\" data-end=\"3397\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">The description on the website reads:<br \/>\n\u201cBorn as a meme, built for utility. $CAR started as a presidential meme coin \u2014 now we\u2019re driving toward <strong data-start=\"3374\" data-end=\"3395\">real-world impact<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p data-start=\"3232\" data-end=\"3397\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\"><em class=\"darkmysite_style_txt_border darkmysite_processed\" data-darkmysite_alpha_bg=\"rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\">Also, you can freely share your thoughts and comments about the topic in the comment section.
