It\u2019s important for the Fed to look through these temporary impacts rather than respond directly to such price increases,\u201d said Waller, suggesting that price hikes stemming from global trade policies would have limited effects.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"1255\" data-end=\"1284\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Is_a_Rate_Cut_on_the_Way\"><\/span>Is a Rate Cut on the Way?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1286\" data-end=\"1510\"><strong>Waller\u2019s<\/strong> remarks indicate that the Fed has gained more flexibility in terms of a possible rate cut.
