Additionally, for a court decision or a mutual settlement between the parties, several official steps must be completed \u2014 making a quick outcome improbable at this point.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"1157\" data-end=\"1201\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Judge_Torres_Has_No_Current_Jurisdiction\"><\/span>Judge Torres Has No Current Jurisdiction<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1203\" data-end=\"1516\">Fagel also highlighted an important legal point: <strong data-start=\"1252\" data-end=\"1268\">Judge Torres<\/strong> currently has <strong data-start=\"1283\" data-end=\"1306\">no active authority<\/strong> over the Ripple case. Legal expert <strong data-start=\"1342\" data-end=\"1360\">James K.
