Both protocols are native to the Sui network, a Layer 1 blockchain developed by Mysten Labs. Sui aims to deliver high throughput and low fees using the Move programming language and parallel transaction processing. Grayscale had previously launched a trust for the <strong data-start=\"752\" data-end=\"759\">SUI<\/strong> token itself.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"775\" data-end=\"940\">DeepBook acts as a central limit order book on the Sui blockchain, serving as a liquidity layer for decentralized finance (<strong data-start=\"898\" data-end=\"906\">DeFi<\/strong>) applications within the network.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"942\" data-end=\"1234\">Walrus is a data layer that enables developers to store and share information directly onchain, focusing on scalability and privacy. It is designed for use cases such as gaming and social platforms. Walrus offers cross-chain compatibility, allowing it to store data from multiple blockchains.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1236\" data-end=\"1267\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"A_New_Opportunity_for_Investors_by_Grayscale\"><\/span>A New Opportunity for Investors by Grayscale<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1269\" data-end=\"1573\">These trusts will be open for daily subscription via private placement to eligible individual and institutional accredited investors. As with Grayscale\u2019s previous trusts like Story, Space and Time, and Dogecoin, there is no guarantee that these new products will be approved for secondary market trading.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1575\" data-end=\"1969\">Grayscale\u2019s head of product and research, <strong>Rayhaneh Sharif-Askary<\/strong>, stated that these trusts provide investors exposure to \u201ctwo key protocols driving innovation within the Sui ecosystem.\u201d Mysten Labs co-founder and chief product officer Adeniyi Abiodun called the launches \u201ca seminal moment\u201d for Sui, emphasizing that Walrus and DeepBook provide \u201ccritical infrastructure\u201d for blockchain adoption.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1971\" data-end=\"2002\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Risks_and_Market_Capitalization\"><\/span>Risks and Market Capitalization<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2004\" data-end=\"2282\">Grayscale reminded that both protocols are relatively new and carry risks including high price volatility and potential technical issues.
