Public feedback will help CFTC carefully evaluate issues related to leveraged, margined, or financed retail trading as we carry out the President\u2019s directive.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Coordination_with_the_SEC\"><\/span>Coordination with the SEC<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Some of the recommendations also call for cooperation between the CFTC and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).<\/p>\n<p>Last month, the SEC announced its own \u201cCrypto Project.\u201d SEC Chair Paul Atkins said the initiative would modernize securities rules and \u201cprepare America\u2019s financial markets to operate on-chain.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The new phase of the \u201cCrypto Sprint\u201d initiative highlights that a more comprehensive roadmap for digital asset regulation in the U.S. is beginning to take shape.
